Don't know about the rest of our game, but our interior defense is suddenly a major factor. Whiteside and Thompson both playing great defense underneath the basket. The Kings should stay with the zone defense. Its been more effective..

Its only preseason, but I am all for just playing a Reke/Beno/Landry/JT/Whiteside quintet the entire second half, unless Omri actually made the trip, in which case we can give him a couple of minutes and see which Omri will show up.

A wee bit of an exaggeration.. I say that with respect, because I really like Hayward at Butler, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him a beast. Now Whiteside is a beast!

Omri is sitting on the bench. While I agree that JT and Whiteside are really playing well, especially on defense, Cousins hasn't been playing that bad. He's been a little too unselfish in my opinion, making some nice passes that unfortunately haven't resulted in asssists. But he's doing a lot of the little things you need to do. I don't think he's made a shot yet, and if memory serves, he's only taken two shots, maybe three. But the shots he took were all good shots that just didn't go in. I will admit that he got burned by Jefferson at the beginning, but thats not a surprise.

I think a lineup of Cousins, Thompson, and Whiteside would be fun to watch as well. I noticed that they've had Landry playing SF quite a bit. So far its been an effective lineup.
