Bag on Ainge for a lot of things but call him an idiot at your own peril. Much like Kiki Vanderweige he inherited a real mess and has made a series of good moves to straighten things out. Had the brains to loose Walker before the entire NBA figgured out his downside. Kept Pierce and managed to dump some very raw tallent in long term contracts on LA, picked up a blue light special old gloves, and then got an instant salery dump from Rick Faux as a bonus. Celts will be in the paly offs and no it isnot likley they will get out of the second round, but they actualy havea very decnet future. Also not sold on his ability to evaluate kids. But regardless of all of that, it has at least occurred to me here that he has a plan, which is something you would have had a hard time convincing me of 6 months ago.
