Following up on my predictions...

The Rockets look very very good today...
In the 1st half, sure. ;)

As expected, Suns beat Rockets. Coming back to win though.

Warriors are pathetic. Absolutely amazing and comical how they blew that game.. but Matt Harpring and J-Rich were huge. Bad news for Utah though, AK left the game with back spasms. Also potentially for GS with J-Rich hurting his ankle and playing the game on it.

I am predicting 11-6 March. You've heard it here first! :)

They will go 5-1 at home and 6-5 on the road.

At the end of March we will be 37-36, and a 8th seed.

Wow... Golden State comes back from 20 down against Utah, miss a few free throws at the end, and then let Harpring force overtime. Needless to say Utah won. GS sucks!

Yeah, I see a 5-1 home record for the month of March. The March road record, however, I predict no worse than 7-4.

So with my 12-5 record prediction, they will be 38-35 by the end of March. I could live with that. :D

I am working on a numbers update but thought it would make sense to wait for a few road games.

Needless to say they need to win on the road if there is any shot at a playoff slot.

Tonight:

Sixers at Rockets - Gotta go with the Sixers here. One of the teams I like outside the Kings, plus Allen Iverson is playing ;). Really though, either can get this.

Bobcats at Jazz - Probably the Jazz, even if Kirilenko doesn't play. Obviously rooting for the 'Cats though.

Magic at Warriors - Magic win this. Too athletic, big, deep for the Warriors.

Lakers at Blazers - who knows... probably Lakers.

Predictions :
Utah loses to Clippers on Friday
Lakers win the Warriors ( but hoping Warriors win ) , lose to Detroit over the weekend
Kings win against Hawks ( Friday ) and Wizards ( Saturday )

If my predictions are correct we will be 29-30 and Lakers will be 30-30 . ( But let's root for our Nor-Cal buddies )

I have a bad feeling that the Kings are going to lose to the Wizards on Saturday. Kings are notoriously bad on back to backs. Not only that, this is against an up and down high octane offense in the Wizards, they have Gilbert who will DESTROY Bibby offensively, and it's early in the morning. Kings will probably go down in this one, and by a considerable margin.

The Kings don't play on Saturday. They play the Wizards on SUNDAY and then the Nets on Monday.

Tonight:

Nuggs at Rockets - Nuggs win, too deep and athletic for the Rockets.

Clippers at Jazz - Clips win, likely no AK again, and Jazz won't have enough anyways.

Lakers at Warriors - Hopefully Warriors win. Not really expecting it though.

Looking ahead at the possibilities of the 7 seed or higher, the Hornets have a tough 7 games ahead of them.

First off, their best player, Chris Paul, is a rookie and we all know what happens to even the best rookies toward the end of the year; the rookie wall. See Lebron James the last two years. I see the Hornets like the Cavs of the past two years, fading out of the playoffs or atleast the 8 seed. I love Paul, but it is inevitable for a player used to playing 30-35 games a year to tire at game 60-82.

Second, Hornets next 7 games are against Phoenix, Lakers, Pacers, Nets, Spurs, Nuggets, and Clippers. Most of these are home games but 3 of them are in New Orleans where they don't play nearly as well as OK City. I see them going 2-5 at best, possibly 1-6 during this stretch.

If they go 2-5 they will sit at 33-32, 1-6 32-33.

The 7 seed is a attainable!!! Take care of business Kings!!! Win on the Road!!

Oh, and Maggette will be returning tonight:

"Back again, Corey Maggette says he hopes to stay awhile this time. The veteran swingman, scheduled to return to the lineup tonight against the Utah Jazz at Salt Lake City, was sidelined the last 39 games while recovering from a left-foot injury, and he also sat out the first four games because of a strained hamstring. There's still time for him to find his rhythm and help the team in its playoff push, and he's eager to work."

"While Maggette rehabilitated, the Clippers offered him to the Indiana Pacers for forward Ron Artest. Concerned about Maggette's injury, the Pacers rejected the deal and traded Artest to the Sacramento Kings. "I've put that in the past. That's just part of the business," Maggette said. "I saw what they were trying to do, they were trying to get someone to help the team, and there are no hard feelings."

Just thinking about that, what a scary line-up this would of been:

Cassell/Mobley/Artest/Brand/Kaman -
