Peja and Sar Back against LA

If Pedja is throwing up bricks I wonder how long before RA brain kicks in and says I need to take him out. I bet He plays Pedja 30 Min.....leaving Cisco only 18

You know, its absolutley amazing how short the memories are of Kings fans this year. Before last game people wouldn't have been terribly upset with Cisco getting 18min. And he might deserve more this time. Or he might not. But its certainly not a no brainer the coach is an idiot if he doesn't play Cisco 30+ type deal. Esepcially not give the size of the guy the Lakers trot out at SF (6'10" 240lbs is considerably too large for Cisco).

It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

Peja's fight= fight
Ciscos's fight= FIGHT!!!

I love fight -- fight is great. But the above paradigm doesn't work very well in basketball, or KT would be an All-Star.

Lamar's intensity is just shaky enough that he could come out and play passively and sort of watch Cisco run around. But if he comes to play at all he's got Cisco by 3" and 50lbs, and that's just not working. Just a bad physical matchup inside, and with Cisco's penchant for foouling, just begging for foul trouble.

Contrary to instant knee-jerk thought, Peja is still a better far more accomplished player than Cisco. Passive, and may give you little. But a player the Lakers will have to reckon with, and who can actually look Lamar in the eye.

But would he actually look him in the eyes?
