He played well in the summer league and is playing good in nbdl...Kings will be watching Whiteside, Landry, Sloan more closely......Bring back PE? he looks a lot more polished scoring and rebounding..

He's a scrub and Kings have enough of those already. If you mean take a flyer on him again to go to Reno minor league team - ok. The Kings need an NBA top flight scoring SF and/or a deadly shooting SG - Ewing Jr can only wish he was that. Maybe one day, but I seriously doubt this dude with a famous name ever comes remotely close to living up to it.

I knew Knicks had given him a shot on their roster, not sure how many organizations he's been with since Kings drafted him. I hope I'm wrong and Ewing is the answer to Kings problems on the wing at SF or SG - I just sorta doubt it.

Thats the role playing talent Kings build with, time accept it. Maloofs are not ready to pay coaches/players yet.

Its not like we have great talent at the 3. I could see us bringing Jr. back IF we ship out one of our two young (and horribly inconsistant) SFs out in a trade. Otherwise it is just a logjam of young, iffy, talent.
As to the Bighorn's PG who is putting up the great assist numbers...I think he's with the Warriors (dont quote me on that though).

isn't d league mostly scrubs? what would casspi or donte's stats look like if they were playing against that level of competition?

Donte Greene D-League stats:
In 32 mpg: 20pts (44% from the field), 4 rebs, 2 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks.
Donte played 5 games. He sucked at rebounding even against D-league scrubs. It also looks like Ewing Jr. is outperforming Donte (by a lot) down there.
I dont think it could hurt to give Jr. a chance. This season is bunk anyways, and it isnt like our SFs are killing it out there (although Om has had a few good games). Like I mentioned in my post above: I think if we do bring another young SF over, we're going to have to ship one of ours out.
Edit: I should also add that Greene shot 27% from 3 in D-League. Ewing Jr is currently at 38%. 2 steals and 1.2 blks per game as well.
