To even remotely suggest that Cousins lacks commitment is so opposite the truth it's disturbing.

What he probably lacks is a "yes man" attitude that Karl desires so that Karl can put his ego all over this franchise. Karl doesn't desire a relationship, he desires servitude. Cousins doesn't do servitude, he does however do respect, and you have to earn it, which is not difficult, provided you are a straightforward person, which it seems Karl is not.

I trust Cousins far more than Karl, as we have repeatedly seen that Cousins trusts and works fantastically well with good leaders or honest people (Malone, Callipari, even Corbin), but has problems (rightly so) with dictocrats or incompetants (Westphal, now Karl apparently, etc.)

I don't think it was ever the plan for Karl to be there. Remember, the original statement was that he would coach but he would NOT be involved in personnel matters. That's why all this crap about him campaigning to get rid of Cousins is so egregious.

If we can somehow jettison Grant Napier and Ailene Voisin over this whole fiasco too, I would have a huge smile on my face. They've been a plague on this franchise for far too long.

Grant is pretty much blaming all this on cousins. The last couple of days he's been hinting at it. Now he's come out and just said it.
 
So Grant essentially blaming Fegan/Cuz for all this.

Grant also essentially sounds like he has a drinking problem.

The balls this guy has to tell us fans to shut up and stop whining about our team who we fought to keep....

Thats one of the key points people like grant have failed to mention. Karl is doing S behind Vlades back. That on itself should be grounds for termination.

I 'm exactly the opposite of you. I usually really dislike Grant on the radio, but today he is DEAD ON. He's tired of this crap, I'm tired of this crap, let's run a basketball operation and not some damn media rumor mill.

Oh believe me, I'm tired of this as well. I just think Grant's still pointing the finger while he's simultaneously yelling at people for pointing the finger.
 
DeMarcus is paid to play and if Karl doesn't want to play to his strengths, he can leave.

Grant's BB IQ is low, always has been. People need to stop listening to his show and maybe he'll go away. It's long overdue.

If Karl is paid to coach, why is he circumventing the front office and making statements to the press? Especially after Vivek made it clear that VLADE would be doing the speaking.

Sorry, but Grant doesn't impress me at all when he does this. There are two sides - at least - to every story. Why isn't Grant talking about Dan Fegan and the toxic effect he has? Why isn't Grant talking about WHO leaked the stuff to the media in the first place and WHY?

Anybody can scream tired old rants into a microphone.
 
All Grant does is kiss corporate behind. Plus he loves to be the controversial, mean radio host guy. He's a cliche. Any other city would chew him up and spit him out. Everyone would be wise to tune him out.
