Cousins trade rumors (the sequel)

How was he exposed? What was exposed was there's issues between Karl and Cuz, likely serious and Vlade confirmed that yesterday by saying he "hopes they can work together". It was also exposed there's issues between Karl and Vlade which Vlade also confirmed yesterday.

As for trade talks, that too makes sense although it was likely more from the Lakers end. Not trading Cuz yesterday doesn't expose Woj as being incorrect. He never claimed Cuz would be traded on draft day.

Anyone paying attention realizes the issues between Karl and Cuz/Vlade are at best on hold while Vlade attempts to fix it. I'd also say, reading between the lines that Vlade issued Karl a public ultimatum yesterday, essentially shut the hell up and do your job, stop making mine so difficult or you're gone.
I find it interesting how Vlade said he did something he didn't want to do but needed to do and nobody picked up on that and ran with it. What was it he did? I think we all know, and you hit the nail on the head.

Man, I really love this one:

"I hope the Lakers are not that stupid to do this deal, especially trading 2 star rookies for a aging cousins! Everybody knows, if we keep this core of youth, we are headed for another championship, Russell, Randle, Clarkson, Anthony brown and larry nance jr. will blossom into a championship core, all we need now is some top free agency players and we are on our way!!! These haters don't want to see that happen, that's why they are trying to break them up, hopefully, this is all media talk about trading these guys and it will all go away!!"

With that championship core, all they need now is "some top free agency players" and they are on their way. I am pretty sure that is true for every team in the league. If only we could sign Lebron, Lamarcus, and Wall, that "championship" core of JT, Reggie, Ray, Nik, and Ben would look a hell of a lot better.

I think the real irony is that we already have 2 of the 3 "top free agency" players we would need to make some noise. It is just the rest of our poo poo roster that can't hold up. That is why smart role players like DC and WCS are absolutely valuable. You need several of those types around your mega stars...

From that article's comments section:
This is quite possibly the most hilariously deluded comment I've ever read on the internet.
It's hilarious to me that Laker fans think that putting on a Laker jersey automatically gives them a +10 to all stats. Randle gets drafted. "SUPERSTAR!" Larry Nance Jr. gets drafted in the 2nd round? "ALL STAR!" Robert Upshaw doesn't even get drafted? "WHAT A STEAL!" Russell gets taken? "CP3 WHO?"

It's madness.

I hate to say it but Vivek is turning into a disgrace for Indians in sports.

I don't think many people will allow Indians to be in a position of power of sports after what Vivek's done.

Is it fair to other Indians who aren't morons like Vivek? Hell no but you know how the world works...

This isn't a trade rumor, but something I feel non-Sac fans should know.

Grant Napear is on his show tempting out the Cousins to Lakers trade again, trying to give it some positive spin. Just take that as a warning.

Sheesh.

Personally I think Russell will struggle greatly in the NBA and I'm not a big Randle fan either.

Again, if the Kings trade Boogie, especially a terrible trade, I'm done.

I am against trading Cousins period... but regardless I hate this propsed trade...

Russell is a high bust risk, maybe the riskiest in the top-10 together with Porzingis.
I never liked Randle as a prospect.
And all the other stuff they offered are kind of meh...

And I'm not trading with the Lakers, just don't do it...

Why? Grant usually gets insider news or what?
Maybe. Maybe not. I don't trust him. He has been a mouthpiece before.

Of course, he's always been against Cousins, even going back to the draft where he trashed Demarcus before the Kings selected him. Nape is a G.O.B.. It could just be that at play.

I just don't like that he's teasing this at this time. Immediate bad vibes about it.

Can you tell us what did he say exactly?

Not exact word for word. I will try to summarize.

He was going into the trade the Kings did. He then transitioned into "meanwhile, down south.." to talk about LaMarcus Aldridge and the Lakers trying to get another interview. He then said about last week that "it seems from various reports there were talks between the Kings and Lakers regarding a trade", which he then finally transitioned into the Lakers not getting LMA (duh) and that they really want a big man, so they might contact the Kings to offer Julius, Russel and a draft pick. (To improve upon the trade they offered before.) He then proposed a lineup of Russel, Matthews, Gay, Randle and WCS, and asked fans what they thought of that.

It was a weird step to take, considering there was plenty to fill with the Philly trade itself, and that the LMA talks are mostly between Spurs and Suns rather than Lakers.

The time to trade DMC to the Lakers (IF you were going to do it) was BEFORE the draft. Every move we have made since then screams 'building around dmc to keep him' What ever is going on inside that red headed skull it is NOT some inside knowledge of a trade to LA.
