I really see your point VF. I'm respond to the this is just false rumors crowd, who seem to be in shock and delusional. If PDA leaked the truth, this isn't just rumor

You said yourself it was a gut reaction. People are taking this as a statement of fact. Cousins is 70% gone, write the checks, put it in the books. I don't fault you for having an opinion and sharing it. What I want to know is... do you say Cousins is as good as gone because there's a real rift between Cousins and Karl that's unfixable and the front office is more likely to side with George Karl and his wishes or do you say that because this news article is poised to kick off a firestorm of back and forth denials which is only going to get worse and ultimately Cousins is going to say "F it, get me out of this mess"? I have no doubt that Cousins' patience is wearing thin with the franchise. He's been put through a lot. But do you actually have concrete proof that Vlade and Vivek want Cousins out? Because until I hear otherwise, I'm tempted to take them at their word that they have no intention of trading him under any circumstance.

I believe we are screwed with Dmc and it's a matter of when he goes not if. That sucks but makes some sense

But we were offered the 2 pick for DMC and managements response was screw that prospect, find us some vets, we want to win 50 games next year. It wasn't more picks or prospects? What???? This is the dumbest and most screwed up NBA team I've seen in a very long time.

That would be interesting. And vague. His old coach as one possible snake, but everybody has perceived them as wanting to get back together. PDA as the other possible snake, who is only in his own front office now, and was there years previously too.

This is exactly it. This is exactly what's going on. People outside of the organization who are familiar with the internal dynamics are intentionally creating the impression of internal discord. "Vivek made me fire Coach Malone. I personally loved the guy" -- that was step one of the media campaign and you'd have to be born yesterday to believe that one. None of us did, but national media ran with it. I don't think Cousins bought that one, but you say the same lie often enough... It's a decent plan I suppose if it weren't childishly orchestrated for no other reason than the spiteful destruction of a franchise. This is Maloof level stuff everybody. Just keep your eyes open, that's all I'm saying.

The more tweets the more I pity Cousins. He's already got a rep coming into the league and then he ended up in this franchise when it has already turned into a joke and passed to another joke. After finally getting an all-star and team USA gold, he's treated just like this.

Man if DMC was wearing a Spurs uniform, he could have already been the face of their franchise now.

I'm not the owner, and we just dished out big longterm money to Karl. I would respect the hell out of Vivek if he actually pulled the fire Karl maneuver, but it would be financially painful. Guess Malone getting picked up by Denver might help on that front -- Smart's deal is done, Corbin's should have run out at the end of the year, and Malone's got cancelled with his new hire.

Let me say first, I believe sports can mean more than just entertainment if the person chooses, but it IS supposed to entertain and consider me entertained lol. This shizz is crazy.
