When we hired him, numerous posters here aluded to the fact that Karl had a common shortcoming being the alienation and treatment of his star players at his previous stops. The same appears to be ringing true here and that is very concerning.

Unless we can move forward with an unfractured relationship between coach and player a hard decision needs to be made.

If there is not truth to this and Karl loves Demarcus he should be taking to social media or sending a telegram to yahoo. Whatever he needs to do to highlight that he is all in. Maybe thats just my perspective but the quietness stemming from him is concerning and surely word has reached him now of this.

This must be resolved before draft day, preferably squashed tomorrow. It's obvious the rift between Cousins and Karl is real. However since Vivek and Vlade have been emphatic about not trading Cousins as recently as today, you have to ask of theres a rift between Karl and Vivek/Vlade? Listen to Vlade's interview today he specifically says his staff is comfortable with what to do in the draft, and doesn't mention Karl as part of it. I'm honestly just searching for any glimmer of hope but this just looks grim.

If there's one thing this front office needs badly it's an experienced PR expert. Vivek pissed a lot of people off with his informal comments about the Malone firing. Never should have happened. The media was allowed to speculate for weeks and weeks about Cousins' role in holding back the George Karl hire. Never should have happened. Now this happens and we'll see how long it takes for Vlade to respond. He's got a draft to worry about though and shouldn't have to spend so much effort continually denying the same rumors. Make that somebody else's job -- somebody who's able to get the front office's sound bites in the media when they want to instead of always being on the defensive.

Where else did he do that aside from Melo?
Iggy was accused of leaking information to the Warriors during there playoffs series with Denver than the next season bailed on Denver to funnily enough go play for the team he was accused of leaking info to.

I honestly give up with trying to figure this team out. Just when I think things are starting to calm down, Vlade seems to be taking control, the leaks stopped (didn't buy the Lakers BS earlier today. First we heard), this happens.

What the flying !>!>!>!>!>!??!!?

They really don't deserve us fans at all. What have they done for us over the last 10 years? If DMC is traded to the Lakers, I don't care what we get back.. I'm done. Cousins, the next great big man, of course he belongs in LA. Send him down south to revitalize their team all while we continue to be the laughing stock of the league. **** that. Good luck paying for that arena, you ain't getting a dime from me.

at no point should trading demarcus even be considered. It is very important we get this sorted now. We can not afford to have a fractured relationship moving forward at all. If there is any truth to the story then Karl must go. If it is all lies then we must come out strongly and discredit this.

Quoting this, because simply liking is not enough.
Call a PC with Vlade, Vivek and Karl: either he has nothing to do with the rumors, and it's all our weasel friend, or he should be gone.

I agree it's too early to put a percentage on this. Need to see how Vlade and Vivek respond. They need to be swift and decisive.

The Lakers stuff was a red herring. The real leaks involve:
1. DMC at some point requesting a trade.
2. George Karl allegedly working to get DMC traded.

I really can't believe some people. There is absolutely no evidence from real source supporting any of these. Anybody and their mothers can sign up a twitter account and start typing. Woj is part of the media machine, the talking heads need to start talking points regularly. It's what pays them.

If all this b******t is true, this team doesn't deserve fans like us. We've been through a lot, but this is just too much for me.

No. Not meritless PDA rumors. PDA leaks of things that happened, strategically planned and released for optimum benefit.

In other words, when did Cousins request a trade? Was it when PDA was still GM? If so, why didn't it hit until now? Maybe because PDA is no longer here?

This is all bizarro world, so nobody knows what's really gone on. In the world of Kings intrigue, however, we should have all learned by now that the more ridiculous something seems, the more possible it might be real.

Seriously? Every major nba writer is reporting it, our local guys are backing it and our star player tweeted an obvious message.

How clearly do you need this spelled out?

Basically this all comes down to who is more irreplaceable. Cousins or Karl.

The answer is Cousins obviously. So if Karl really wants Cuz gone, then he just bought his own ticket out of town. Fire his ass and bring in Thibs.

For those with twitter, bombard Vivek to let him know all Kings fans pick Cousins over Karl. One more bad move like this, he will lose a huge chunk of his already dwindling fan base.

Karl created a rift at the Sonics between the organisation and Kemp after it became public that he favoured Pippen and wouldnt mind trading Kemp for the latter.

Its a step further that what is being speculated to be happening here except Karl hasnt been linked with any targets (apart from Lawson)
