Not for nothing, but by the time my post above exhorting Greenlaw to "JUST GO DOWN" had populated to the website, Dre was still running around with the ball.
The Bucs wide receivers are scary but their defense is like tailor-made to be shredded by a Shannys-style offense.Don’t they have Eminem too?
Anyway, I’m trying to figure out which team looks more favorable for the Niners and I don’t see why the Niners should have trouble with either of them.
Baker is more of a deep ball threat that can put pressure in our corners…but they don’t protect him well at all. Their defense is pretty good but not dominant.
Lions run the ball well and can get after the QB, but are otherwise average defensively.
Niners oughta take care of business regardless of who comes out of this game
Lions D is more exploitable imo and they don't have near the same pass rush as GB. But they're far more explosive as an offense and really good against the run.
The Lions will be a tough team, but I can see the 49ers punching their Superbowl ticket.
- The Lions barely won by 1 TD against the Buccs, a team we won by 2TDs against and dominated for most of the game
- The Lions barely lost to a Dallas team that the 49ers dominated early in the season. It's also the same Dallas team that was dominated by the Packers who we beat yesterday.
The 49ers' defense will need to step up. This Lions team has a lot of speedsters which has caused problems for the 9ers. We're going to need everyone in our defense to capitalize on turnover opportunities.
We also need Brock to get back to playing his good self. We can't win again with another dud of a performance.

Purdy should be fine. I think the one narrative out there about him that actually might be true is he can't throw a wet ball. The 2 games this year where his accuracy was absolute trash was last night and the CLE rain game.
We're pretty lucky the Lions pass rush isn't good though. Our O-Line was absolute trash, again and just getting dominated on the non-Trent Williams side of the line.
I find it wild that GB twitter is blaming the refs for costing them the game.
I could see that one either way, but not hosed. Meanwhile, they called a PF on Trent Williams, but missed at least 3 against GB. They also could've called holding against their OL many times saving Love from getting sacked. My point is GB was called for 1 penalty for 5 yards. SF was called for 6 penalties for 83 yards. Kind of hard to call foul in that situation.I thought they did get hosed on that 4th and 1 call - Love made the marker on the sneak it appeared by a half-foot or so. Is that enough to indicate refs are reason for loss? I dunno, maybe.....
