[Game] Nets @ Kings - 11/18/12

So, we go away from what was working, sub out all our starters and NJ goes on a 13-4 run, consisting of many layups.

So you wanted Smart to ride all his starters throughout the whole quarter? I thought you wanted him to sub out the starters around the 2:00 min mark? (which he did)

It's not you -- Smart's rotation tomfoolery started right on cue.

That's actually a bit of a relief. I was afraid for a moment there I might have been transported to an alternate universe. (Perhaps an indication I've been spending way too much time watching Doctor Who.)

Does any other coach in the league sub out his entire starting lineup with 2 minutes left in the first quarter when we're clearly winning the matchups? Come on coach, sub out 2 guys -- you had a good thing going.

We subbed out Evans, Cousins, and JT at the 2 min mark

I was enjoying that alternate universe, and then Smart snapped me back to reality. :)

"When Andray Blatche is playing like an All-Star, something is not working right, defensively." - Gary Gerould.

Fair warning...I am now watching, and will try to avoid too many "ex-ter-min-ate" references.

Outside of us making Blatche look like an All-star, I like what we're seeing on the floor. We look like an actual NBA team

Yeah, it looks like they are playing with at least semi-smart.

Best thing Smart did so far was take Cousins out of the game when he was starting on one of his tantrums.
