Using that logic, I'd have to go with Tim Duncan to answer the question.
And at just about the point that we have now managed to equate being "black" with nothing more than illiterate inner city gangsterism, I'm thinking perhaps we should take a hard swerve to get this topic back on track, no?

When was the last time a passer was made mvp?
Magic

last caucasion by the way was Bird (also maybe a passer depending on how you look at it).

Unless I'm forgeting somebody MVPs in the modern era should be should be:

Garnett
Duncan x2
Iverson
Shaq
K. Malone x2
MJ x6?
Robinson
Hakeem
Barkley
Magic x3?
Bird x3?
Kareem x6?
M. Malone
Erving?

Dude, how you gonna have a poll like this without including "The Diesel" . That is my pick. SHAQ DIESEL.

Yeah, Shaq and Nash are really the only two realistic options, maybe Duncan.

I have a strong suspicion that Shaq is going to get it

Dwayne Wade is on top (maybe) followed by Steve Nash. If Nash is out of lineup the Suns are below 500. Wade hasn't been out yet (has he??) but he has Shaq so hard to keep Wade #1. If Kings finish #4 or #3 then Bibby jumps to the top of the list, real quick.

Nice reminder Gargamel. From 58 to 80 they were all Big Guys. From 81 to 93 all PF and SF-SG. Then back to big guys except for two Jordans and one craphead AI. Not a point guard in the bunch (Magic Johnson not withstanding, at 6-9 he was a true point forward and Jordan was all-everything, a one-of-a-kind but mostly a SG).

So the door is open for Bibby or Nash. Lets see the next 10-15 games.
