Um...this game started out much like that day game up in Seattle. At the end of the 1st half, the Ms miraculously managed to end the quarter only down by four despite shooting a blistering 19% from the floor.

Eh...ok..well...we played another 10 minutes and lost a point. 
Yep...thank goodness Kara got the memo to score today. I wish I could forget the fact that had we converted on the Walker pair of FTs and did something other than let LA steal the ball back when we stole it from them with about 20 seconds left in the half that we could either be tied or down by one. I really want to forget that.
Just need to get somebody other than Kara going (oh I dunno - NICOLE?!?)

Ugh...another 10 minutes and more of a deficit AND a buzzer beatin' 3pter from Willis. 10pts down with 10 minutes to go. Unless they figure out how to score they are going to have to defend their butts off and hope the officials start penalizing the Sparks points.

Not a good game by any standard. We were outscored in every single quarter. Yuck. At least Kara had a great game. Nice game from DeMya too, but the free throws have got to get better. I don't think it's ever a good sign when Yo scores her first points in the 3rd quarter.
Damn... swept by the Sparks... man that feels nasty to say. I don't want to feel that role reversal again where they are the ones with the upper hand. But they have certainly had our number all season long.

I'm going to avoid looking at a box score on this one for a while. Listening to K&K, I'm going to agree....I could have taken a loss today if they played much better than they did. They did some nice stuff, but it was another weird road game. Also was another game where they get Kara losing her mind offensively in one half and then forget about her. She got a few touches in the 2nd half, but I think they were late in the game. I don't know that she touched much in Saturday's game in the 2nd half except when she shot the technical FT. Nice game from DeMya, she hit double figures despite not having a lotta shots fall in 3pt play situations. Yo touched but stuggled and didn't score her first point until late in the 3rd quarter?
But the defense was off for sure it seemed. Jessica Moore is the high scorer for LA? Jessica Moore??????
Alright, come home - take care of Minny then go on the road and figure out how to beat Phx and defend that offensive backcourt.

Listened to some of the game...not much to cheer about. We usually don't play well in those early games. Maybe their looking ahead & dreading the back to back & having to go on the road vs. the Mercury in a contest that doesn't count. Time to dig deep Sac...you are not tired!
Anybody care who we play? I know the trip to Seattle is shorter, but they are alot more healthier than Houston. Well see you all Thursday...poster night.
Found out for sure the game is at 12:30 on the 19th...yeah still get to see Shakira. sorry just a bit excited!

I can tell you're excited...hips don't lie ya know...
I'm not sure we play well enough on the road for me to even have a preference despite the fact the Comets are so banged up - I don't think it even matters at this point. Plus we haven't played well historically in Hou or Sea. They've got their work cut out for them either way.

I am getting a little fed up with the 5 and 6 point games we are getting from the Stanford Grad.
We don't pay her to Dribble, or create.
And we damn sure don't pay her to think.
Think on your own time Dammit.
We pay her to score, she needs to shoot the ball.
2 point til the Fourth Quarter. 5 for the Game.

Kara had been very assertive lately but we seem to be going away from her. It may be a by-product of Yo getting late starts offensively. Didn't it take til the 2nd Quarter for her to score her 1st field goal the game before.
Yo wants the offense to run thru her, she can't be taking the Quarter off.
The Defense did not sound very good either. But a free throw here or there and the complexion of this game may change.
Some one eluded to it, but this is the mental part of the season. No one will get fast or jump higher. But you can cut down on mistakes, and play the game correctly. I watched how PHX moved the ball last night and it was impressive. Not becasue they beat Minny
, but they did the little things really well.
I am still waiting on that from this team.
If we don't We are out, and it doesn't matter if it is the Crippled Houston bunch, or the Surging Seattle Storm.
If they chose to take a mental powder the next few games that is up to them, but It is hard to turn it on once it is off.
Now we well probably Beat up on Minny, because they are the Western Conference Whipping Post. But we better focus on doing things right.
