In many ways, Moore has a Kenyon Martin-esque attitude; back in his heyday, Martin would always roar and showboat his personality upon making rim-rattling dunks, and he would always sport a look of animation on his face upon fouls and/or good plays. It's a double-edged sword in many ways, but his attitude has his share of detractors (i.e. drawing the ire of Charley Rosen). At least, however, Martin was considerably tougher, stronger, aggressive for the kill, etc. with loads of other physical abilities that Mikki lacks.
Sometimes I wonder whether Mikki stays in the league through sheer enthusiasm. He's a 7-footer with length, athleticism and a jumpshot, but when you factor in his lack of strength, his lack of shotblocking, and his foul trouble tendencies, that nearly negates the first two and simply makes him a 7-foot jumpshooter, with enthusiasm. He acts tough, but doesn't always play tough, although that's probably due to his limitations of talent as opposed to hard work. However, he has consistently shown to outmatched by stronger, more athletic, more polished players--and that's why he's a journeyman. He looks like Tarzan, but plays like Jane most of the time.
