I'm really starting to sour on the NBA. The complete takeover by the refs is glaringly obvious. Not only is it manipulating games but it completely takes away from the experience. Why would anyone spend a bunch of money on tickets to watch teams shoot 61 free throws? I wish people would start boycotting games until the NBA makes changes. You almost never see more than 2 possessions go by without the refs blowing the whistle for fouls that not only don't affect the game, but cannot even be seen by anyone other than them.
If the ball get shot and the defender lightly touches the shooting hand after the ball is already in the air, why does that have to create a stop in play and free throws? That slight contact had no effect on the shot. Not only that, but it's only called when they feel like calling it. Half of these fouls cannot even be seen by the fans. Then they show a replay of them and the announcers usually agree that it was a foul because the slight contact could be seen. In reality every single play on the court has that exact same contact but it's not called because the game would take 6 hours to complete if they called it every time. They only call it when they arbitrarily feel like it.
