Yeah at what record does Davis chair start warming up? 1-5, 2-7, 5-13..etc?
His chair is hot NEXT season after we hire another new GM and he’s immediately a lame-duck coach with a GM who didn’t hire him,

Luckily we’ll have Victor, and we’ll assuredly finally win 50 games and make the playoffs.

Don't forget, the projected salary cap for next season is $134 million so we should have around $30 million in cap space this summer and the only key rotation player we're losing to FA is Harrison Barnes. As long as we don't completely botch this season and finish near the bottom of the league again, there will be an opportunity to add another big piece either this summer or next summer. Other than Sabonis, the guys who we need to play well have been and he's got enough of a track record that I'm not worried about him.

You know you're a Kings fan when it's 3 games in and we're already looking forward to the next "piece" in the lottery.

That’s to be expected on the second night of a back to back. All of our perimeter shots were short. First back-to-back of the year? These guys were definitely feeling it.
Back to Backs (going back to Summer League) are Keegan kryptonite so far :(

Sasha (the eurostud we have rights to) is a pure 4 right? So if nothing else for that.
I’ve got my fingers crossed that we can sign him as our primary back up 4. Like his chances in that role the best.

Fox Mitchell
Huerter Monk
Murray Murray :D (draft)
FA Sasha
Sabonis Holmes

That’s my ideal scenerio next season unless there is a big trade to be had

if we lose out in the play-in I'll worry about Wemby. I just really want to get through the next stretch of games where we can play some middle-of-the pack teams in consecutive games and hopefully see where we are really at.

As big a bummer it is to play the Clips and Ws back to back, an no game until Thursday, it's great for Brown and co. to give the guys a film day or something tomorrow and then get some quality practice in and hopefully even though Thurs is another tough test we can see something positive.

I really don't know what to make of Barnes's situation though.

0-3. Defense hasn't changed a bit. Ho hum.
We were not good last night, the first two games we were 15th overall in the NBA. That's where we wanted to be coming from historically bad under Walton, but we need the offense firing on all cylinders. Lots of work to be done still.

Does Sabonis even want to be in Sacramento? Seems like he's kind of done already just going through the motions (he's still good), also Malik Monk is a mistake he's a low IQ chucker who does nothing else and that KZ should not be on any roster. Fox is the only one so far playing consistently well. I have been warning people about Barnes for ages.

Mike Brown is a defensive specialist... Apparently. Obviously it's going to take more than three games let's see where we are after 30 games but still... Not a good start.

Does Sabonis want to be here? That's pretty ridiculous to say bro. But I'll let him speak on how he feels.

I'm staying optimistic and hoping that we can put it together soon. The only downside of us continuing to suck is a chance at Wembanyama.

Defense needs a lot of work. I think we need to give Len some run. He might be the only big we have that could legitimately provide an interior presence.

Honestly I was thinking we'd go 4-8 maybe 5-7 best case but I still have us winning 44 games.

I really did consider the Blazers game must win looking at the schedule. At this point both Charlotte and Orlando are must win.
Memphis, Miami and Charlotte are all winnable. If we end this stretch 3-3 we can feel better. If we end 0-6 might be time to think about Wembayama.

Everyone is down on the team right now but we have been competitive in every game. Maybe we should of won against the Blazers, but they are also 3-0 right now, and beat the Suns.

Does our defense need work? Of course, but it has shown promise outside of this last game. A game in which the other team had the number one defensive rating last year, and we hung 125 on them with Huerter and Keegan being off. We were on the second night of a back to back, and it showed.

I'm really starting to sour on the NBA. The complete takeover by the refs is glaringly obvious. Not only is it manipulating games but it completely takes away from the experience. Why would anyone spend a bunch of money on tickets to watch teams shoot 61 free throws? I wish people would start boycotting games until the NBA makes changes. You almost never see more than 2 possessions go by without the refs blowing the whistle for fouls that not only don't affect the game, but cannot even be seen by anyone other than them.

If the ball get shot and the defender lightly touches the shooting hand after the ball is already in the air, why does that have to create a stop in play and free throws? That slight contact had no effect on the shot. Not only that, but it's only called when they feel like calling it. Half of these fouls cannot even be seen by the fans. Then they show a replay of them and the announcers usually agree that it was a foul because the slight contact could be seen. In reality every single play on the court has that exact same contact but it's not called because the game would take 6 hours to complete if they called it every time. They only call it when they arbitrarily feel like it.

Agreed. The first 3 games have been bad. I don’t have a problem with how they call it on one side of it is called the same way on the other but it is not. The Clippers game was more evenly called but not this last one.

I’d love reporters to ask Silver some of this stuff. Fox just doesn’t get the calls that others get. And I don’t mean just superstar calls but contact in the lane by any dude. Davion and TD were not allowed to do anything last night. Was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Might be time for Brown to lean on the refs a little

it was especially bad yesterday. We couldn’t go one possession without a foul call. It was almost unwatchable. Additionally, we are being just aggressive as the other team and yet they still shoot 10 more free throws than us. We always seem to have a massive free throw disparity.
