[Game] Kings vs. Spurs 19 FEB, 22:00 EST

Isaiah is proving that he would have been much better suited to battle 1 on 1 vs Irving than Brandon Knight was in the rising stars game

Having no PG on a basketball team is like an airliner without a captain.

Napear loves pointing out the roles players on other teams have, yet always fails to mention we don't have any roles.

You know, IT is such a great kid and I'm really trying not to be negative on him but its so aggravating that he literally NEVER looks to pass the basketball.

Dude has 22 points on 8 shots. I wouldn't be looking to pass to Chuck Hayes either

At least we're not getting blown out. Should be an interesting 4th. Think Reke got more aggressive cause he actually got the ball more

I can't fault you with thinking like that. A lot of players on this team share that same tendacy, but with IT it's harder to ignore cause he's the PG and his job is to set guys up with shots, not look for his own. I wish Smart would tell him to pass, but I think Smart sees himself in IT and Thorton, so he lets them slide.

Just came in the middle of the 3rd. Any reason Trob and his 7 rebounds in 10 minutes wasnt in over Chuck?

no kidding? also wondering why Smart just put Thornton in instead of Jimmer who was also effective in his minutes

EDIT: nevermind now we know-

Keith Smart ‏@CoachKeithSmart
Jimmer played great in the first half, but we need Marcus Thorntons Defense right now

IT is having a great night, yes. But just listening to Grant, you'd swear IT and Grant are engaged to be married. My word I have never heard Grant gush over a player so much in my life.
