[Game] Kings vs. Spurs 19 FEB, 22:00 EST

I yearn for the day when I can watch the game and we don't consistently run two completely separate lineups. This two unit nonsense is mind boggling. If I was a casual observer of this team I would think the lineup we have right now was our starting group trying to claw their way back in.

Jimmer needs these minutes every night for the rest of the season. No reason why he shouldn't be playing over Brooks at this point. We need to find out what we have with him.

I'd take Honeycutt over Cisco now, too. The season is over, Cisco is gone next season. Let the kid play.

i second that. mixing bench in with a few starters is always the best thing to do. do u ever see Spoelstra benching Bosh/James/Wade all at the same time unless its garbage time?

You make zero sense. I gave you a legit reason why I'm singling out Cuz. It's the same reason sports fans in every league criticize their teams best players.
Well, I'll agree that you think it's a legit reason. That's as far as I'm willing to go with it.

It's just so weird to watch to me. JT the only starter in at any time so far in the second quarter? An 8 minute stretch in the first half where only one starter plays? Just weird. Even if your guys are struggling to start the game, you don't regularly see a coach not let the main guys try to play their way back into the game so early on.

JT has the worst hands ive seen in a big man

Yeah, but you offer zero analysis.

What's the point of analyzing it? It's clear he's not showing up, AGAIN, tonight. This is a recurring issue with him. Apparently, I'm the only one who has the balls around here to point it out.

I'd like to know wht parker didn't get a tech. If Cuz did that, the refs would manufacture two techs and kick him out of the game.

Has nothing to do with having the balls to point something out and everything to do with understanding our system, use of him and overall play. You seem to equate made FG's with effort or showing up. That's only part of the story.

Last time you were going on about Cuz not showing up he had 13/11/6/0/3. But 13 pts isn't 20+ so I guess it's not showing up.

im serious, in recent memory at least. how many passes does he drop per game? its a lot
Recent memory? Kwame Brown was still in the league, as recently as two weeks ago. The comparison is not close.

Jason Thompson doesn't even have the worst hands for a big man to play for the Kings, since Jason Thompson was drafted. Justin Williams? Mikki Moore? Hilton Armstrong? Hello?

this sums up the first half

Isaiah Thomas is showing why he's the only person on this team who participated in any events over the weekend in Houston

Thankfully I'm seeing less of the Smart stuff this game (I don't expect this to continue). Sure he isn't NBA calibure coach and should be gone immediately, but we have a lack of talent, lack of leadership and the franchise itself is lifeless, so Smart this and Smart that all game - he's one of many problems and in my opinion not the complete source of why we lose to better teams on a nightly basis

We would most likely be losing by even more if Smart didn't play this wacky rotation. Even with all that's going on though, I still would rather see an attempt at good basketball than going for easy wins. Wins or losses doesn't matter to me at this point, I just want to see decent basketball. A win here or there doesn't really excite me. Seeing DeMarcus or Tyreke with great games and demonstrating the potential they have excites me. Seeing ball movement and team play excites me. Seeing Jimmer make good choices excites me. That's why Smart upsets me, I see him out their chasing meaningless wins by trying to find which player might be having a good night instead of trying to play good ball.
