Nobody plays "intense defense" for 48 minutes, not even the Grizzlies and Celtics. Hell, the 2004 Pistons didn't play intense defense for 48 minutes, not every night. How about starting with a more reasonable goal, like playing intense defense for twenty-eight minutes a game?

It never ceases to amaze at this level, how many guys don't box out. If the wing players would just box out their man, the long rebound problem would be essentially solved. Instead, they turn around and follow the ball towards the rim
