I haven't seen Buddy Hield do one damn positive thing in this game. Not a shot, not a rebound, not a defensive play, not an assist. NADA. If the box score says differently, then the stat keepers are about as wrong as these refs. I have seen him not box out and run out on defensive possessions instead of going for rebounds. Just pathetic.

To be fair, outside of the first ten mins, Fox, Buddy, and Hali have been matsdors on the perimeter,

Yeah, I enjoyed bench bomber Buddy for like 3 games. Now I want him gone again. But that can be said for pretty much the entire team at this point.

It is just sad that 15 games in I just don’t care anymore.

There's a malaise of going threw the motions.....they are not giving full effort, or focusing, and not playing together - when you throw all those together you're down by 18 at home to the 7-9 Raptors at half. Yes 18....earlier in the season they were at least giving full effort (it appeared).

The chance to make a run is at the start of the 3rd. The Raptors big lineup has been every bit as butt as the Kings one. Maybe even worse so one run could get them back in it. If they haven't totally checked out yet.

I don't understand how Walton thought these adjustments would save his job.

You had four dynamic guards in which you could have three of them in at any time. You had switchability on the perimeter and passable spacing even if all Harkless did was flit around the perimeter and miss too many open 3s. Hence Barnes could shoot 8 threes a game and thrive doing it and get downhill whenever he wanted. You even had a big body in Len that could help stem you physicality/rebounding problem.

Was it even particularly good? No, and the 4 game slide proves that. They're missing another forward. They choke too much. But if you kept at that, I could've easily seen him keeping his job. Their net rating was the best since '06.

Then he completely flips the switch and goes with full-sized lineups again. At ALL times. He doesn't even just start with a full-sized lineup, if Metu isn't in, Bagley is. He forces Barnes back to be a full-time goddamned 3, kills the spacing, clogs the paint, and kills the switchability on defense.

This is the guy who has played Kyle Kuzma and Harrison Barnes at C. He goes to this NOW?!

And all of this for the saviors of Chimezie Metu and Marvin Bagley. For their rebounding problem. When neither of them are good defensive rebounders.

He has to be smoking rock.

Yeah ball movement - pathetic - screen and roll, drive and kick, pick and pop, high screen - ANYTHING

The Raps ain't falling for the Kings big lineups. TT/Bagley, Bagley/Holmes, TT/Metu. Holmes and Metu is the only one they remotely have respect for.

Essentially, they are so frustrated that they are trying to take it upon themselves to win the game. They must get back to team ball, while continuing to play hard.

This is a coach that has gone back to what he wants (that hasn't really worked BTW) even after the team was ripping off wins doing the opposite every year since he was hired. You can't fix that. You just can't unless you build your team for them. He took the first opportunity to go back to a big lineup and no spacing.

"Bang, Bang, Bang".....everything about this franchise is so cringeworthy, from the owner, to the coach, to the announcers.
