Ahh, another loss to the Jazz. How fun.
My prediction skills are all powerful. Note the melted faces our Kings still possess due to the extraordinary shooting of Okur.
As well: 89-102 is really close to my projected 89-103.
Whatever, gloating aside, we still lost and I suppose that's just the way it should be. For now.

Yesterday (monday) we cut Drew Gooden. The second coming of Hakeem the Dream was in our presence for all of 11 days. Grant and Jerry will be so forlorn. They spoke so highly of him. Alas, we hardly knew ye, he of the octopus beard.
Seriously, the move will save the team 2 million this season and should place the available money we have for free agents at around 9 million (after the rookies show up etc...).
Ah, the possibilities.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The game at hand is versus the Indiana Pacers, less one fringe all-star Danny Granger and no Mike Dunleavy. The problem with that is Jarret Jack's recent production. Dude has averaged 23.8 points per game in Granger's absence. He just posted 28 against the Nuggets in a win. If Troy Murphy decides to go ahead and rebound the ball (he just got 18), we are in for some serious struggling around here. Let's not forget Hibbert either, the rookie has potential and should be a solid center.

Awards time
Mikki- goes to Kenny Thomas again, nobody else on the floor can accomplish what he can.
JHA- this will be given to our favorite: Troy Murphy. Why? because it seems appropriate.
TDM- McCants. Somehow he will find a way to score around everybody.
Lw-Vc- despite my enthusiasm I present this to Hibbert. Not good enough to battle our bigs.
RA&1- Brandon Rush. Replaced in the starting line up by Jack, Indiana's funny.
Methusaleh- Josh McRoberts. What the h#!1 was this guy ever all about?
Cassell/Greene/Obryant/Gooden award- (I'm gonna rename this soon because it's mine), will go to Greene. Maybe if we chant "Rudy, Rudy" he will get some decent PT. Someday someone else will get the Greene award, I promise.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Gist / Predictions:
This can go one of two ways; The Kings can roll over, but the Kings usually play under performers really well, so let's go with spectacular numbers all around.
Kings 111 Pacers 103
Martin 38 pts
Jack 29 pts
Hawes 14 rbds
Murphy 11 rbds
Solomon 6 asst
Jack 5 asst
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This game should be a slopfest with no defense allowed by anyone, another subpar game. Expect excellent basketball only in individual performances. Hawes, Thompson, Jack, Murphy and Martin all have the potential to crack this one open.
Heck, just watch it to see if McCants can continue working to secure his MLE level extension. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! (evil laughter).
