I'm starting to believe this might be the starting lineup, especially since Reke is stinking up the past 2 games

Tyreke's minutes at SF when IT and MT are in always makes him look pretty terrible. Not sure why anyone would expect different. When he is in as the SG he looks nice.

i would say only 2 or 3 baskets were actually scored on Cuz. alot of his points came on switches and wide open layups and put backs

This or Tyreke instead of Thornton, or JT instead of Robinson. I think both work about the same and is what most here have been screaming for smart to use.

But then of course you lose shooting and defense in that tradeoff so....all is lost. If Smart is going to play Tyreke wherever, whenever, it might be a good thing for Reke to come off the bench. MT is strictly a SG so he would only come in at one spot, Reke can come in at 3 apparently.

This is the lineup I was suggesting last year and wanted to see. I feel like Tyreke having complete control over the second unit would allow him to do what he does best. People were rightly concerned though that if that happened, we had 0 chance of having Tyreke want to come back to the Kings next year.

Some good stat lines coming out of this game. Players giving you what you want from them. IT with 8pts 10ast with a low shot total. MT Scoring. Cuz with an EFFICIENT 18-10.

Huh? Robinson and Hayes didn't even play together IIRC. It was Thompson and Hayes in there together.

I wish Reke could play the 3, it would make our life much easier. Unfortunately I don't ever seeing him having a sliver of the success he can have at SG.

You can't just look at the player though, it's about team needs right now and this team needs shooting, not another ball handler/shot creator. Reke is still that combo G that he was coming out of college, I wish they'd give a fair shot to Reke and Thornton together, it can work in the right setup.

Oh, yeah, that did happen. That was a crazy shot though. I've been pleasantly surprised with TRobs defense. Much better than in college.

They normally tell players ahead of time if they are playing. It's normal to not play a starter/rotation player in the preseason to give more minutes to others.
