Kings vs. lakers Game Thread

Managed to watch this one over the internet stream and boy what an UGLY 2nd quarter. At one stage we had 7 TOs in 7 minutes. Laughable. Couldn't bring the ball up the court properly and coupldn't complete simple passes.
Overall some good signs. Defence was OK. We rebounded well and for the most part we played decent ball.
More positives than negatives to come out of this game but we also need to take into account the opposition who aren't anything special.
Garcia is not afraid to take a big shot and he generally manages to hit it regardless of whether he is struggling or not. We might have 2 clutch players on our roster now.
No one got injured which was a great reasult.
Pre-season is finally over so let the real stuff begin

hi all, good game down the stretch. second quarter was really frustrating tho, and like some posters feared, we went down double-digits when the second unit went in against theirs. frustrating that they get so razzed against pressure defense, and also, why don't we ever employ that?
nice to see mike back on form, and getting pissed, altho i hope he stays more level-headed and just speak with his play. everyone else had a good outing, impressed with bonzi and kevin.
cisco was not bad down the stretch, but he was also a little jittery in the second. made me kinda antsy watching him.
one thing i commented to my gf (a laker fan) after the game was that the kings showed a lack of energy. yes, it's preseason, but i still wanna see some fire in them.

It appeared to me that Bibby had a good game tonight. Yes, he had TERRIBLE games earlier, but appeared in regular form tonight. I loved seeing him play with emotion. the others seemed to have good games, too. Bonzi is fitting in well. Brad was more of a factor tonight than in the other games. It was good.

SAR had, I think, his best game all pre-season. Brad too. Obviously didn't get near regular season minutes like the other starters.

Our front court is miles better overall than their's so it wasn't a real test.
No I watched the live stream and they showed most of the game. They tuned into Kings game maybe hafl way through the 1st quarter because the Nets-Knicks game hadn't finished yet.
They interview Maloofs about a few things including the new arena saga and about a new suite in their hotel which has a half basketball court in it. It even showed Peja shooting some hoops in the suite.
This was a live feed from half way into the 1st quarter right until the end of the game.

Preseason is not over yet -- we play the Hornets next. Maybe we should break out the Monarchs rather than unnecessarily risk injury in another scrimamge.
