Forgot the key that ties it all together, stability
But the front office and coaching must be adaptable for such stability to occur.

WHAT? No production out of the 2 spot again? What a surprise ! Front Office needs to make a move to solidify the 2 guard position.
Be 6'5".PJ Tucker!!
What does WCS need to do to get minuets?!

The reason the Spurs are ALWAYS good... they don't buy into fads, they don't try to be something they aren't and they are very structured in what is expected of each player. Fundamental, disciplined basketball.
This is just the way it's going to be with George Karl. We have another wing on the bench who could match up better at SF (Caron Butler) and he never plays even when Casspi or Gay are injured. Collison and Belinelli are his fourth quarter guys regardless of how many shots they miss or how many times the other team's PF posts them up and scores easily. It doesn't seem to matter how good Acy or Cauley-Stein are playing, the only way they're seeing the court in the 4th quarter is at the C position with 4 guards around them. I'd actually be okay with George Karl remaining our coach if somebody could convince him to only play 2 guards on the court at a time but it just doesn't seem to be in his DNA.
We got production for the 4 spot but hey lets bench both WCS and Acy..........WHAT? No production out of the 2 spot again? What a surprise ! Front Office needs to make a move to solidify the 2 guard position.
More to the point, after several years of faster paced offenses, this season Pop went back to the Twin Tower era and is playing big, classic fundamental basketball.
Nah, you know what? Some of us can recognize an injured player vs a healthy one.I know you are being sarcastic but Boogie's recent dominance underscores the legitimate criticism that I and others levied against him. The difference in efficiency in 2016 is dramatic and legitimizes those fans who wanted and expected more.
He's delivering like a MVP not like Brook Lopez with a bad foot. And I would suggest those defending his play in the month of December were effectively defending Brook Lopez with a bad foot!
I would go further and suggest this stretch also legitimizes the system that Karl has implemented particularly early rim runs and pick and roll from middle of floor and the way Karl is using him with only about 20% of his scoring chances are out of the low post. If Boogie happens to struggle tonight it is against the 3rd best defense efficiency in the NBA (SAS > BOS > GSW) so if he struggles credit and criticism on both sides are probably fair.
The growth to Boogie's game will occur when he combats resistance by going away from resistance, i.e. The Way of the Peaceful WarriorSometimes instead of answering force with force you go away from it or instead of trying to go through a brick wall like Bogut you go around it (him).
7 assists and 12 smart reads last game against was evidence of going away from resistance.
The Warriors like most teams want someone other than Boogie to beat them. So Boogie needs to have confidence in teammates if thats what opponent is giving him, he should take it and if he does so tonight we can thump these d-league scrubs.
Bottom five? I've been curious to get the official Slim list of announcers.Mike Gorman and Tom Heinsohn (or whomever fills in for Heinsohn on the road) are the worst commentators in the league.
WHAT? No production out of the 2 spot again? What a surprise ! Front Office needs to make a move to solidify the 2 guard position.
PJ Tucker!!
What does WCS need to do to get minuets?!
His desire to point out every thing Boogie does and painting it as bad gets old after awhile, huh?Honest, Grant, with a minute left in the half, any player getting his third foul is not a tragedy. Stop it, please. With WCS back, it is less of a problem not that any King brings as muuch as Boogie. It's three, Grant. Save this tuff for your radio show.
f we layed big, slow and defensively against the Warriors you might enjoy it more but we would lose non the less.how does everyone think Vivek and the FO see these losses to the Warriors?
Are they wringing their hands at how Karl is trying to be the Warriors to beat the Warriors like we fans are?
My money is on then being happy how fast our pace is. They really don't care about our horrible defense. Just as long as we're entertaining.
The Warriors have big-ass guards/wings, a small 4 spot, and one big man. This game showed me, yet again, that the Warriors style of play is susceptible to a team with a top tier big man. Most teams don't have one, but the Kings do. If they can ever surround Cuz with the right mix of players that can consistently make open shots and, most importantly, defend just a little bit ---- small ball will not beat the Kings.
So a *true* small ball lineup will: 1) not affect tall shooters, 2) open up post-up situations, and finally 3) kill us with switches. Guess why we double a lot? 6'0 guard on Dirk. 6'0 guard on Draymond Green. Guess why, after a switch, it is just *sometimes* difficult to defend a 3pt shooter? We have Koufos and Cousins on the floor at once. We need another big man like WCS: 6'10, a bit mobile. Preferably with a post game, and a mid-range jumper is would only be a cherry on top. Even a 6'9 guy would satisfy me. Can't have too many Casspi's on a team, can we? You know, counter their 6'7 guys with mobile 6'9 guys?
We need bigger people.
Again, you must not listen to many other announce teams, when they're not covering Kings games. Also, just because the home broadcasters are criticizing the Kings, doesn't mean that they're "unbiased." It just means that they have a different kind of bias.
EDIT - I'm not sure why you keep saying we played the Warriors three times?
The Warriors have big-ass guards/wings, a small 4 spot, and one big man.
We have the big man advantage: WCS + Cousins means that we can guard the stretch 4 while still maintaining our size advantage on the offensive end. WCS needs to develop a post game and a mid range jumper in order to be effective. In my opinion, post game development is more urgent in order to punish the opponent with size advantage. On a Cousins post-up, WCS can stay on the block for a rebound -- no big deal if he doesn't have a mid range jumper. But it would be better if he were a little outside, though, and a mid-range jumper would give Cousins a bit more space. But still, the post game is more urgent.
We are crippled by our small wings and guards. When the Warriors play three 6'7 guys on the wings, and maybe even Livingston (6'7) at the point, and when we play one 6'0 guard and two 6'5 wings, or two 6'0 guards and one 6'5 wing, or two 6'0 guards and one 6'2 wing, we are only reaffirming something that all people that have played at least a minute of basketball know about: size matters A LOT. Do you really think a 6'0 midget running at a 6'7 3pt shooter would distract the shooter? Maybe for a 6'3 shooter, but not a 6'7 shooter for sure. On top of that, they can post us up, and we tend to double more than we should. At least let them prove to us that they can post up, before we double. When we double, we give them open 3pt shots all day.

All opinions are not equally valid. Whoever told you otherwise was selling you something. It's subjective. Everyone has their own opinion. You have your opinion, and I have my opinion. My opinion is that your opinion is wrong, but then that's just my opinion!![]()
