why me... that game was going so well.... now i almost dont want to see the sonics win against phoenix.... i want them to lose but still beat the suns... my head hurts...

yeah tough one huh

im still pulling for the sonics to beat the suns...the only bad thing about the DF suspension is that he won't be in uniform to manhandle Amare "the enforcer" Stoudamire

Peja scored well, but he shouldn't have been in there at the end of the game. Adleman needs to make a choice about Peja and how much he hurts the Kings rebounding versus how he helps the offense. He hasn't proven over the longhaul that you can count on him to score in the 4th or playoffs, so I think it's better to go with Barnes/Evans for defense and rebounding at the end of games.

He looked allright to me tonight on D and he did manage to get 6 boards. Barnes was getting killed on D by Daniels and Allen tonight.

He is better defender than either Barnes or Evans and he ALWAYS comand a defender on him. I can not even believe I responded to this

true... that and its not pejas fault the darius and tag cant jump or hold on to the ball....

I know I regretted responding as soon as I did...

As much as I like Mo, he really wasn't doing much out there and got ransacked on guarding Allen on the defensive end.

Pedja played EXCELLENT defense. He also played A LOT of minutes so fatigue at the end of the game could have been a real consideration. Remember, he's had back problems for quite a while so he's bound to have lost a little stamina.

Anyone who bashes Pedja over his play tonight simply wasn't paying attention IMHO.

True, Mobley defended Allen much better than Barnes or Evans. You didn't have to have Evans on Ray though.

He is a good defender for spurts, and that makes him useful in late game situations but his rotations are physically slower and his rebounding is lackadaisical. I saw instances where he watched rebounds fall into someones hands a few feet from him. You got to fight for that ball. That's why the team gets beat by the Mark Madsen's and Nick Collison's of the world.

And though you can't believe it, you may have to respond to this sort of question again if things do not improve.

Pedja was a good defender tonight for a major portion of the game. He's never been a premium rebounder and at this point to expect him to become one is most likely a pipe-dream.

He has, however, made appreciable improvements in his overall coverage of opposing players and that, IMHO, is worthy of considerable comment and praise.

No, that’s the best thing about it! :p
