Kings @ Sonics Game Thread

Adelamn was doind great in subs in the 1st half but didnt end the game with the right players IMHO.

a lot of it is about location, good rebounding is as much about anticipation as it is effort. Most of the Kings actualy begin heding back up court before the rebound is even caught, thatg is what drive me nuts. The team pretty well leave rebounding up to Webber and Miller (Song and Tag). Pedja really needs to help out more and Cat is capible of doing better and probably will once he feels 100%

I don't know about Cat because he is defending on the perimeter so he is far away. Pedja also does a lot of perimeter defense for us, but at those times that his man takes him inside he should be able to get more rebs. However, he never showed any inclination towards blocking out, positioning himself or even going over if nothing else. I mean, I am sure someone can show him, how to?!

I watched the Nets game last night and I realize that Jarbari Smith was a monster in the paint. (Yes is our Jarbari) If he's still a King he should definately a factor in terms of rebounding and shot blocking.

So don't say we don't have hustle player. It's our system doesn't preach hard noise basketball. That's the problem.

Good he sould be. And I agree with everything he said. Lets hope he can motivate the toops to put the last3 games and the Refs and the All Star snub behind them and focus on the fundementals of the game: pass smart, find the open man, take the smart shots, rebound, protect the ball, and never leave your assingment on defense.

this really was a disappointing loss.. i wonder what difference miller would've made if he played today's game.

Well, pretty much seems like the three teams above us in the standings are just better than us currently. Hope that changes... we just can't seem to beat the good teams unfortunately.

I truly believe we can beat anybody if the ENTIRE TEAM would play defense for four full quarters and if the ENTIRE TEAM would rebound instead of assuming Webber or Miller will get it.

RA is pissed? You should watch Pop what is pissed! I am sick of saying those makeup stuff AFTER the game is over.... If you are pissed, you better let your players know DURING the game. Do they really care?

yah that just sucked. i wanted this win becuase the kings don't have a lot of wins against the better teams in the west.

at least brad will be fresh tommorrow. he BETTER had a HUGE game to make up for today.

Honestly I hope he's pissed of how the Sonics pulled a Knicks move on the Kings. From being 95-90 to 96-95 in a span of 23 seconds.

Adleman should be pissed at himself. You lose this game because of rebounding and he plays one of the team's best rebounders, Maurice Evans, only 4 minutes. Look at yourself coach, the team played good offense most of the game, but the defense and rebounding bit you in the ***. So if you want to be angry about what cost you the game, you might want to look at the players you put on the floor.

i would love to have seen Brads reaction to the Chris/Fortson beef...and when ::laughs:: DF got kicked out the game

all i know is if Brad Miller gets suspended for throwing his HEADBAND and Danny Fortson BETTER get suspended for flipping that chair...if JJ didn't catch it...it would have hit somebody right in that first row behind the basket
