Sorry don't agree that the problem is rotations. The problem is poor transition defense and turnovers turning into points. I see a lot bad decision making by just about any player you can name this game. And coach is trying to work Martin into the lineup, so consider that too.

He has a point though...I tihnk it would be better for everyone if the rotation was more set/stable...

I second this request. Details?

Mediocre, and not much interaction. Reke had a poor half. Kevin looked pretty much like he always has. Had a little impact early as a sciorer, none later when the ball went elsewhere. Pretty flat first half for them overall.

Love all the people on here flipping out in the first quarter. Calm down people, don't **** in the first. Plenty of game to be played.

have they been working well together(ie: Kobe and Prime Fisher, Manu and Parker, Snow and Iverson) or have they just both been doing their own things off the dribble (Iverson, Jr Smith)

I Really Really Really think the Billups/Hamilton comparison is very, very good.

Reke can be better than Billups because of his ability to score off the dribble, he just needs to work on his J. Kmart needs to work on coming off screens more and its interesting to see if Reke can set him up.

Thanks Brick.

It seems Donte got 0 minutes in the half and a lot of people are not happy about that. Could his rolled ankle still be bothering him?

well I generaly would disagree as well -- but it wouldn't be the best idea to bench Noc while we are trying to trade him....

I don't think GMs make these decisions based on a player's performance over a 30 game stretch. They know that a player can blow on one team and thrive on another, and are often willing to take risks based on that understanding.

Nocioni's skill-set is well known around the league, a few more minutes per game this season won't change his reputation. He's a gritty, but limited, role-player. That's what he is, and that's how he's valued. I sincerely doubt this season will make that much of a difference to that perception.

i hope to god we see greene on lord thadeus in the second half. te's the only one that can match him athletically and defensively.

i'm still waiting for our monumental acquisition, hilton armstrong, to get minutes:p

I dont think he'll play today. It's not like he needs to know the plays, "Your big, go in there, play defense, grab rebounds and stay out of the way."

No, not really working together. No obvious friction either. Just playing seperately for the most part. I don't think you can blame Reke's half on Kevin's presence, unless it be just through lack of rhythm. On the other hand there haven't been any instances of them making each other better either, nor have they caused any real problems for the Sixers. Just call it a shrug at this point, but note that both guys had belwo avergae halves and so did we.

Dear Paul Westphal,

Please no more minutes to Nocioni. Watching him play is equivalent to nails on a chalkboard.

Thank you.

It seems like everyone has caught the Nocioni's out there. If it weren't for Kevin's super quiet scoring we'd be down pretty big right now. Hawes has been playing good (well, way better than I expected) I have to say. Less Noce time more Donte time and I'm a happy camper.

I'll try and give Westphal until the deadline to play Nocioni. If this guy is still chucking and still getting minutes on this team after that then theres something wrong with Paul.

Even if Noch is playing awful like he is now, I think a team would rather have him still in game shape. Its hard to just keep him out of the game all together at this point. There still should be minutes for Donte though. When Nocioni is playing bad he should be taken out, but He needs to see the floor at least a little bit until the deadline.

Kmart's lack of energy is not good. Watching loose balls instead of going for them. Letting people get by him in transition D.

Thats what K-Mart does, FOUL drawer, he'll go to the line 20 times like that.

this is what I was afraid of...

Tyreke gets the ball..drives..gets fouled

Martin gets the ball..drives..gets fouled

we need MUCH more movement..it might work for now..but not @ the long term..
