Its completely normal to sub out your starters with 3 mins left in the 1st.

I kind of agree with a lot of this. I think he needs to reduce his rotations down to 8-9 guys.
 
it's really sad to see just how bad JT's hands are. Reminds me of Duane Causwell.
 
So PW used 4 subs that quarter and Donte Greene didn't get any minutes at all. I see how it's going to be....

Why is Casspi not in the game if he was playing well when was he in before. Why even tinker with what was working well (Kmart - Casspi - Evans). It seems like Westphal doesn't have the balls to bench the players that need to be benched.
 
thompson is really really really starting to get on my nerves with the way he's been playing lately and nocioni coming in before greene is just plain ridiculous.........
 
Sixers had 12 free throws that quarter.

We were just as aggressive at the basket and magically, zero free throws?

I hope the refs warm up and start watching the game.

Dude, Casspi played 8.5 minutes, KMart 8.5, and Evans all 12. WTF are you talking about?

He played 9 of the first 12 mins. Do you have any clue how nba coaches usually substitute?
 
Westphal has a hell of a job to do with the Kings. He has so many options to chose from, young talent to developed and minutes earned y pure hustler players like Brockman. He also has two great players in Tyreke and Martin who will take up a lot of the minutes.

I wouldn't want his job.
 
The cardinal rule of coaching is that you LEAVE a hot player on the court and bench the players who aren't playing well. Westphal doesn't seem to internalize this simple fact.
