I know that I should be more disappointed by this game, but after last night's game, i am not very stressed about it tonight. You have to admit (minus Bibby and Peja's shooting woes) they played MUCH better. Peja and Mike will find their shot. We are going to be OK. I can feel it!! (I am an optimist)

Do we not have any point guards at all? Cause that's what the stupid freakin stats I've been staring at the whole time are indicating. And are brian skinner and kenny thomas even playing?

i usually am...but right now i need someones optimism...i think we'll be okay..its just disappointing....however...

...if history repeats itself the team that got blown out by a non playoff team in its first game will win its division. The Sonics were blown out by the clippers on opening night and they recovered just fine winning like 50 games.

My prediction: Mike and Peja are going to camp out in the gym tomorrow and Friday. They are goign to to both have break out games agianst the Suns. We will win the next 80 games going into the Playoffs!;)

really though, shooters as good as mike and peja will have slumps. They will come out of it. When they do, it is going to be beautiful to watch again.

The TO's kill us, but that too will work itself out. I though that we would have a rough start, but I am more concerned with how we finish.

Ok now when has Bibby done this bad. And Peja????????????????? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AWESOME job by Bonzi and Brad! I love their play today!

we lost but we did alot better than we did in new orleans
The point is we lost though. Bibby and Peja must be on crack or something cause they arent playing like players who score 18 plus.

I agree that we looked much better, and I'm sure Peja and Mike will find their shots.

The biggest LONG TERM problem, as I see it, is that we have a very limited amount of bench scoring. If KT doesn't hit shots off the bench, then we just can't keep up. Hart is not a scorer, Garcia is young and frenzied, and Martin still appears lost to me.

It is certainly NOT Chicken Little time. As I said earlier, after watching last night, this was a great game for us. Mike had a HORRIBLE night. I really do not see him staying this bad. Peja had a sub par night as well. BUT at least he was being aggressive enough to actually foul out. When those two get the kinks worked out, WE WILL win. It is not panic time for me.

I did not expect us to win tonight, but I did expect a better effort than they gave against New Orleans. They had MUCH better effort. I do expect us to win on Sunday. I WILL STAY POSITIVE!!

the way which peja shoots the ball is not his style, definitely not his original way of shooting...right at the moment he releases the ball i can tell if the ball goes in or out

bonzi will be a fantasy monster. =P

but this team really needs to stay aggressive and iron out their shots. and i'm really impressed that brad is stepping out to guard the screen roll.

but not so glad about the upcoming 4 games. x_x

Well, it looks like Adelman is putting his whole bench in at one time. He has NEVER done this before. He has done it the last two games. I don't expect this to become a frequent thing as the season goes on. He may be using this time to test them out and see who does what because usually a bench comes in one piece at a time.

completely agree, it almost seems that when KT comes in the offense stagnates.

i was just thinkin about this..and im not sure if it is a factor or anything but worth to be brought up maybe? in preseason Adelman was tryin different rotations to see what worked, whereas a team like the suns..played their startin five pretty much more consoistently then the kings. granted we didnt know who our startin five was gonna be, but maybe this plays a factor...which is why i agree when its said to give the kings a few more games...

It seems KT is not showing the effort, either because he is upset about not being a starter or what. It sad if that's the case cause he could be a great spark off the bench and a good 6th man. I think maybe giving some minutes to Corliss in the next few games to see what happens. I give leeway to Martin and Garcia because they are rooks, but there should be no excuse for KT.

I really liked when Brad was active early it really opened up a lot of offense for us. The ball really started to move around when Brad touched it.

At least tonight was an improvement over last night. Even though it did not result in a W, it was an improvement and thats all I am asking for as this new Kings team moves forward.

I am not worried about Bibby much, shooters go through slumps and this appears to be one of them. He will work his way out of it.

...I noticed that also...something just didn't look right...didn't he used to square up to the basket and shoot with his feet together?...tonight he kept putting his right foot forward and was almost turning to the left away from the basket...and he was crouching sort of... ..or am I crazy?...

My take on this game.

Much better showing than against the Hornets. However, were are still not playing like a team but once again showing flashes. I just wish Mike and Peja would pull their finger out of their backside and start playing some basketball that we all know they are capable of playing. They will turn it around eventually, I just wish they do it sooner rather than later.

Brad, Bonzi and SAR were VERY good for us but apart from them 3 amigos, there wasn't much else on offer. When your 2 best players are stuggling and when your bench is not giving you anything, there is just not a chance of winning a game. We are getting nothing from the bench. Absolutely nothing.

We are improving and eventually we will get it together. Still 80 games to play ;)

7 TOs scare me.

If we have 5 of those possessions back, we might have won this game.
Oh, geez...

Bonzi and Brad totally kept the team even in the game last night. Bonzi led in points and rebounds, and tied for blocks and steals. The fact he was putting for effort is what matters.

Playing what if in situations like this is so without basis in fact. Yes, it would have been nice if he hadn't had 7 turnovers but, all in all, I'll take the bad with the good. AT LEAST he was putting for a pretty concerted effort.
