There should be an entire game link on the popup (once you hit recap) soon.
Where can i see highlights?
Anyone know what games will actually have someone calling the game?
I hope there are a few because that mean a lot better camera angles and close ups instead of the one far away camera.
hmmm maybe in the next few games well see that hook shot..
Hawes and jason thompson need to get more PT together to develop a chemistry... Sacbee once coveted a Love and Hawes passing game if he fell that far... now we have some one who MAY be even better than Love... id love to see that passing game
Singletary hopefully makes the team, as ive read the comments passes the ball and is quick
Douby.... still a shooting guard, yet we can always use extra fire power off the bench
Williams: lol slow? i sure hope he gets to be that bruiser kind of guy we want and need.. lol starting a fight in summer league that made me laugh
Ewing Jr. i wont judge the guy saying he sucks and stuff, maybe didnt get enough touches, didnt assert himself? what ever the factors are im sure he will get a good game sooner or later, id rather have him on the line up than KT
We all need to keep this first game in particular and the summer league overall in perspective. Over the last 4 years of the vegas summer league I never went to first games. For most free agents, the excitement and desire to play good overwhelms them and the first-games remind me of wind up toys all wound up too tight. Or like a bunch of 4th graders who found a case of Red Bull.
Another item that too many fans become concerned with is winning and losing in summer league which has absolutely nothing to do with the regular season. For example, last year Nate Robinson and the Knicks team went 5-0 whereas New Orleans went 0-4. Summer league is for player evaluation in game-like conditions and to see which players work better with in a team role. Belinelli (warriors) last year scored 37 points in one game then in the regular season scored 95 pts total in 82 games!!!
I like to pick a player on the floor and watch them for 3-4 minutes straight, with and without the ball. Then go to the next player. May not be as much fun as watching a game and cheering and booing but watching the "bubble" players like Hawkins, Ewing and Walsh to me is fascinating. In Tuesday's game you will see a bunch of minutes for the 5 guys who did not play on Saturday. Then expect to see a couple more guys dropped and by the 3rd game we should start to see a defined rotation of 10-12 players.
Fouls and TO's in first games don't mean much with the hype and all. Also as pointed out by the Raptors coach on saturday, the Kings starting 5 included 4 first-round draft choices: Shelden, Jason, Quincy and Spencer, 3 of which played in the NBA last year! So the Kings should win most games but more importantly, can Singletary, Ewing and one or two more get invites to training camp in October?![]()
Jason Thompson's 3pt bomb was awesome! when i watch him take it live i was thinking to myself "wow homies lost his mind".... he was a good couple feet past the 3pt line from the longest spot on the floor... that sound with of the ball going down... wow wonder if hes gonna be a 3pt threat every night..

Jason Thompson

Birthdate: July 21, 1986
High School: Lenape HS

Don't worry slim. It didn't look like anything he will be doing alot of. It was more along the lines of. OK your going to play 10 feet off of me, lets see what I can do.
yeah in no way do i wanna see Thompson jacking 3's all night every night..... but if he can hit that shot, and defensive players are gonna give him all that room...?... then shoot away!
By wondering if he's gonna be a 3pt threat.... i meant... I wonder if he can hit that consistently? and again if he is a 3 pt threat then it works to our teams benefit to spread the floor, and it looks like Jason can put it on the floor and burn by other bigs maybe so its a good thing...
He should be playing in the paint mostly though...
