Actually, I think Joerger is far better about playing the youngins than Elston. I don't know what the hell Elston is doing. Brings back Fox with only 2.5 minutes to play and Jackson with 30 seconds?

Hey Elston, did you get the memo about playing the youngins?!!! Take a freaking timeout to get them into the game!
Elston might be playing for wins.

He saw how much Scott Brooks’ 2-0 record as Kings coach did for his career.

I'm pretty happy with what I'm seeing right now. Nice use of vets and rooks. I continue to be even more impressed with DeFox.

Suspect coaching? Elston Turner knows his stuff.
He doesn't know that the two or more vets need to be rested each game. Rest them. They are tired. They played so much in the first half that they need to rest most of the 2nd half. Give most of the time to Jackson, Hield, Bogs, Papa and Fox.

It's not written in stone. AND it was with WCS, Skal, Malachi and Mason available. Sorry, but I think you're wrong. I'm pretty happy with the blend I'm seeing right now.

LOL. I think Z-Bo wanted the +1 on his last bucket.

So, Jackson, DeFox and Bogs are showing their stuff. I think that's pretty impressive. :)

If you're not bogged down with staring at the minutes, I think you'll realize ET has done a credible job balancing the rooks and the vets, putting them out there when they can be the most effective. There's a reason he sat next to Rick Adelman multiple times.

But Asik is making like $11M, do they really want to take on more money, or do they want to salary dump Asik?
Here is the tweet I was referencing : https://twitter.com/kevinoconnornba/status/958413740067598336

"What also doesn't make sense is I'm hearing the Pelicans have been trying to dump Asik with their first—not trying to get value back (like Mirotic). Why don't Bulls deal Mirotic for value to another team, then absorb Asik into cap room and get the Pelicans first? Weird situation."

Guys - you're gonna make my eyes bleed. It's the game thread. Please don't make it a trade thread. :p

Meanwhile, back on the court, I still think Koufos is better inside on garbage detail than a lot of folks give him credit for.

Yeah, that sounds like the Pelicans want a salary dump, so I'm not sure they'd be interested in Hill. Three-ways can always happen, but there's no obvious reason to showcase Hill to New Orleans, at least from that info.

LOL @ Frank Mason who is out on the court during the time out in street clothes shooting his air basketball. Think he wants to be back?

Grant and Doug are really growing on me as a broadcast duo. For some reason, Doug seems to bring out the human side of Grant.

Koufos is invaluable talking on defense. Our guards would get smashed by picks if Koufos weren’t as vocal as he is. It’s the kind of thing you can’t pickup on TV, but makes a massive difference on the court.

I think there's an element of Grant not being able to fall back on the whole ask Jerry about French Lick (or Bob McAdoo) thing that makes things fresher.
