Greetings, fellow Kings fans from the frozen north!



I've realized an important fact of life: electricity is really under-rated. I am SO thankful to PG&E for getting power restored in impossible conditions...

I'm in the middle of a blinding snow flurry at the moment. Hopefully it won't last too much longer. The weather-guessers are saying things are supposed to calm down but I strongly suspect they don't have a clue about what could happen up here. I have actually looked outside into pouring rain or driving snow and seen, at the exact same time, NOTHING on Doppler radar for my area.

Tonight's game could be interesting. I think it will at least be fun. I'm looking forward to seeing Dwight Howard play. I just have to hope he doesn't do too well.

The snow stopped a while ago and I've shoveled a path to the main road. The weather-guessers say it's supposed to clear but I don't trust them. They've lied before...

I do think, however, I should at least have power for the entire game which will be a blessing. Did I mention how I think electricity could easily be the greatest invention of mankind?

It looks as though the rumors about Kevin and/or Mike showing up on the court tonight were premature, to say the least. They just showed the team coming onto the court and neither Kevin or Mike was there...

About the fans: "They're not fair-weather fans. They're gonna be here if you respect the game." He also mentioned that fans here appreciate "heart and hustle," but in different words.
