Well I'm off for the night. I've seen this type of game enough times that I could write a book. Just when I felt like I could start being proud of this team for its effort, they play like this. I just don't know what it is with this team that prevents it from winning. And what in the hell happened to our rebounding? It's a disgrace. Cousins has let a lot of rebounds just slide on by this season.

Just a Fugly game. Simple things like protecting the ball/turnovers. BOX out. 3 point shots generally bounce far from the rim if they miss.

I mean, the only productive parts of the team were Boogie, early Rudy, Ben, and Omri when he wasn't getting blocked or throwing the ball away.

I know this game was awful and we should have won it, but I say again, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will Joerger's Kings. You can't expect coach to have fixed everything in 6 games without his starting PG. Do you remember how much we looked like hot garbage on and off the court last year? It's rare to turn things around that quickly from where we were last year.

Still don't know why WCS played down the stretch
I'm far from a "Cousins can do no wrong guy", but do you seriously think that he was what holding us back this game when he scores 33 points on 12-20 shooting with 8-9 FT's and mostly good defense?
You don't have to be completely positive about Cousins and there are places where he can and should improve, but you can't blame every loss on him while he is putting all-NBA preformances.

This is a team whose past draft picks are busts. It will take a long time and good drafting to get out of the mess they are in. They need to trade what value they have for draft picks and make good choices. What they have isn't working. It's not that its 6 games into the season. This is a continuation of horrible play from last season. It is just bad and they need to clean house.

No one is saying Boogie is blameless but for some reason he's getting the brunt of the criticism while a lot of the big issues remain "probably Boogie's fault".
