[Game] Kings @ Heat 12/20/13 - 4:30 pm PST

Up the FT percentage to .700?
B-R.com allows you to filter a range for either/both FT% and 3PT% but, as near as I can tell, it does not allow for the possibility to specifically search for games where a team's 3PT% was higher than their FT%, which is what I was trying to find out.

McLemore's one on one Defense against Wade has been nice.

Jimmer is terrible. id rather have Thornton play backup PG at this point.

our Defense still sucks

Im going to have to question the Gameplan here (either the Coach for not implementing it or the Players for not listening to him if he did) but why the hell were they not feeding it to Cuz in the paint from the very first minute.
in a game where nobody on the other team stands a chance to guard him, how was this not established?

For all of Vasquez's faults, the one thing he did was slow the game down when we needed it. Controlled tempo. Teams are scoring like crazy and we are turning the ball over at an alarming rate. The difference is having a pg who runs an offense. Or tries to.

now that the game is over and its desperation time they feed Cuz every play. Hard to understand how that isn't the plan from the start

EDIT - Before the Thomas fans start foaming at the mouth, let me elaborate: it was all well, and to the good, when Thomas wasn't making the interior passes to Cousins, because other players on the floor were. What has since happened was that two of the guys who got the ball to Cousins got traded, one of them got benched, and the other only gets to play in limited minutes.

So, all of a sudden, all of the guys who were feeding Cousins the ball are no longer available to feed him the ball, which makes Thomas (who is, ostensibly, the point guard) not getting him the ball that much more noticeable.

Kings cannot sustained team D or team offense for long periods of time. They need to learn to slow the other team offense on D and utilize the strength on offense. Always turns to one on one play when things go bad.
