this is our second double overtime game. The first one we beat the Knicks 123-118.

Thornton totally smothered by Moore, who forces a 24-second violation.

Kings ball.

4;32 left

Salmons inside to Garcia, fallaway jumper doesn't go. LAC ball.

Crap. Dickau for three from the corner. There wasn't a purple jersey within 20 feet of him.

100-97 LAC

Miller for two.

100-99 LAC

3;33 left

Thornton inside for the dunk and the +1 from Moore, I think. Bonus good.

103-99 LAC

Udrih to Garcia on the give and go, back to Udrih for two.

103-101 LAC

Dickau inside, foul called on Moore. That is his 6th foul. Hawes in for Moore.

Non-shooting foul. LAC inbounds.

Dickau kicks over to Thornton for three.

106-101 LAC

Oops. Shelden replaced Moore.

Garcia for two.

106-103 LAC

2;16 left

Maggette airball; Kings ball.

Udrih, Salmons, Garcia, Shelden and Miller for the Kings

Beno for two more.

106-105 LAC

LAC ball, knocked oob off Kings. Still LAC ball. clips call 20 second time out. 12 on the shot clock.

1;35 left

LAC inbounds.

Shelden breaks it up and it goes oob again. 8 on the shot clock. LAC inbounds agian.

Powell drives inside, Miller fouls him and he's charged with the flagrant. Not sure why as Miller was going for the ball but I'm not an offiical.

Powell to the line for two and LAC will have the ball. Grant is ranting about the call.

Powell makes both.

108-105 LAC

Replay sure doesn't look like a flagrant. Foul yes...flagrant no.

LAC ball.

1;17 left

thornton three doesn't go. Salmons rebound.

Udrih bounce-pass inside to Miller, who is very frustrated. Ball is stripped, no foul call. Miller fouls and Thornton heads to the line.

51.9 seconds left.

Makes first; misses second but LAC gets the ball.

109-105 LAC

Dickau inside and off the glass for two.

111-105 LAC

28.6 seconds left

IMHO the thing that cost us this game is the Kings getting sloppy and letting the Clippers back into the game.

That, and to be honest, a lack of real leadership by Reggie in making it clear what he wanted/expected. Way too much indecisiveness out there at critical times. And, of course, the good luck the Kings had experienced disappeared at the worst possible time.

Kings for two.

111-107 LAC

Thornton was fouled by three Kings with no call and he gets inside for the bucket. Theus is FURIOUS. As are Grant and Reggie. The Kings were intentionally fouling and the officials ignored it. That just sucks.

113-107 LAC

Udrih from the line gets both.

113-109 LAC

Kings foul intentionally and this time the refs call it. Miller called for the technical as he makes a comment to the officials. I can't blame him and Reggie is agreeing.

Technical good.

Maggette to shoot the fouls.

maggette makes both.

116-109 LAC

Kings call time out and I have no idea why.

Grant is still furious but finally says he'll shut his mouth. And then says this is the worst officiating he's seen in a very long time.

The Kings made a lot of mistakes but the calls and non-calls were horrendous. Grant says he didn't think he'd see a worse called game than Game 6 in Staples but he was apparently wrong.

Game over. What a crock...

Yes, we lost it but when THREE PLAYERS try to intentionally foul a player and all three officials swallow their whistles, there is something wrong.

Blech.
