And back to Staples we go. With Kevin Martin most likely out, the Clippers are going to have to work hard to lose to us. But they're the freaking Clippers...

Should be suspended. I believe this is the second game of the two-game team suspension.
Those punks did it on purpose! I tell ya!

Lakers: "Hey, stop Sac from getting the first pick and we can switch teams."

Clips: "I'm not losing to the Kings!"

Lakers: "C'mon! I'll make you an offer you can't refuse..." *brings out In-N-Out burger animal style*

Clips: "... uh... alright... hold up... Hey Zach, get over here! I got something to tell you!"

According to the Bee:

Thornton - sprained right shoulder - doubtful
Camby - sprained left ankle - doubtful
Kaman - flu-like symptoms - doubtful
Jordan - sore left Achilles - questionable
Randolph - suspension
Davis - sore left knee - out
Collins - right foot plantar fasciitis - out

They show the probable starting lineup for the Clips as:

Davis - PG
Gordon - SG
Jones - SF
Skinner - PF
Jordan - C

(And yes, that's the same Jordan they also have listed as questionable...)

Our only injury is Kevin Martin and his sore left ankle, which they're calling a game-time decision...

I honestly think we've seen the last of Martin on the court this year. At this point, I can't think of even one good reason to have him play.

Also...

Camby: out, probably for the season, broken ankle
Kaman: out for the last 3 games with flu, probably out tonight
Thornton: sprained shoulder, out tonight, maybe for the season

This means a forecourt of Novak (gimpy ankle, but how can you bench a bad player for a game like this?) and Skinner. Ya bleeping hoo.

(Update in light of VF's mention of the Bee's listing: Jordan and Skinner! Better yet! :( )

Isn't Thornton also out? Anyone else out for the Clips?

Well, according to the Bee (http://www.sacbee.com/kings/story/1770190.html):

Clippers injuries: F Al Thornton (sprained right shoulder, doubtful). C Marcus Camby (sprained left ankle, doubtful). C Chris Kaman (flu-like symptoms, doubtful). C DeAndre Jordan (sore left Achilles, questionable). F Zach Randolph (suspension, out). G Ricky Davis (sore left knee, out). F Mardy Collins (right foot plantar fasciitis, out).

Somebody call the triage unit!

If all those guys are out, they've got 7 players available:
Baron Davis
Eric Gordon
Fred Jones
Steve Novak
Brian Skinner
Alex Acker
Mike Taylor

A grand total of two of those players are over 6'5".

Top lottery pick be damned, I think I might actually cry if we don't win by 30 tonight.

Well, we ARE talking about us, now...and as long as Natt is still here, ANYTHING is possible...the Clippers could start Billy Crystal and Arsenio Hall and Natt would somehow find a way for us to lose.

The Clippers may HAVE to start Billy Crystal and Arsenio Hall!

Sure, anything is possible.

Actually...looking at the Warriors lineup we lost to AT HOME...

I'm calling Eric Gordon for 50. Book it.

Looks like Clippers are in Full Tank Mode. No way they want to win tonight. Our guys will play their hearts out (with or without Martin). It does not look good for a lin. **sigh**

this is "MUST LOSE" and the worst record clincher for us.

It is THE game of the season.
Yeah baby, take one for the team! This just in...the Clippers only have 6 available players, so they've dug up Officer Olden and Danny Manning for tonight game!:D

Face it, fellow Kings fans. We are most likely going to see a woss tonight, so might as well just sit back and hope the young bigs have the games of their lives. As the clock winds down, I also think we're going to see McCants doing more and more to showcase his talents...

I just don't see any way - short of getting lost in downtown LA and missing the game entirely - that the Kings can lose this game.

If it happens it happens, I've seen stranger things happen, though. Remember when we played OK City and they were missing 3 guys, including one Mr. Kevin Durant, and they still pretty much took it to us for most of the game until the end...shorthanded. Knowing are luck, the Clips will sign Jason Hart to come back and haunt us.

Woohoo! That jinx ought to get us the lin. Are you using reverse psychology? :p

Jason harts on Denver now I believe. I've met the guy once. He's a neighbor of a friend of mine. Cool guy but horrible NBA player haha

I predict Kenny Thomas comes off the bench to hit a 3 at the end of the game giving the Kings the worst WOSS of the year!!

The Clippers had us tripled up at the 31 second mark of the first quarter. Not doubled up, tripled up. It was like a 135-45 pace for the game.

It's not even sad. It's just funny at this point.
