Speed isn't key in basketball in the halfcourt. Timing can be just as important. Bird proved that timing and execution overcome raw physical speed and quickness.

He excels at pacing himself...doesn't really rely on athleticism to get him by either. That's why Dirk & Duncan are still playing. Zach Randolph will probably be one of those 15+ year players also.

We're really forcing things. Rondo was trying to force a pass that wasn't there to Cousins while he had Ben open on the top of the key.

Went to Cousins the next possession and he settled for a pull-up J with lots of time left.

I think we just need to settle down. Rushing things for no apparent reason.
