i'm part of the guilty party. i'm not rooting for the kings to loose, i just would rather them not win BECAUSE the bigger picture here is the draft. in the grand scheme of things any game is a good game for me. a win? woo hoo we won! a loss YES that much closer to a better draft pick.

yes the draft is a gamble, but i'd rather see a team of young players losing then a team of disgruntled vets going no where. not all draft picks pan out, but every player who is in the NBA was a gamble when they first started out. maybe that gamble pays off, maybe it doesn't but i'd rather take the gamble then the players we have now which we do know for a fact aren't getting it done.

it's pretty obvious this team is going no where ( except last place) so why not cut our losses now, and try to get better sooner rather then later?

looks like hte kings are gonna pull this one out.

Someone must have pointed out to Doc that they are in danger of winning, Celts are slowing down.

By the way, what do you think Muss said at the end of the 3rd with 2.8 on the clock and Celts inbounding? Something like..." we have a foul to give...DON'T use it! "

Exactly. This reminds me of the 49ers a couple seasons ago, when they were the 2nd worst team next to the Texans I think.

I'd rather have the Kings be THE worst team in the league, so they are the best at SOMETHING.

I never knew that we needed reasons for wanting our team to win.
I want them to win because I do not want them to lose. Losing does not ensure us a top pick. As bad as we are, other teams are worse. Everybody is pinning all their hopes on getting the top pick and getting Oden, but that is not promised to us. I expect the entire team to play to win. I will continue to cheer for wins as long as they are playing. I expect us to lose most nights, but always hope otherwise. We are going to lose enough to get into the lottery. We don't need to hope for losses in the games we should win.

I am rooting for as high a draft pick as possible. So loses don't bother me any more. And I do not think that makes me a bad fan.
