Kings @ Celtics Game Thread

i'm part of the guilty party. i'm not rooting for the kings to loose, i just would rather them not win BECAUSE the bigger picture here is the draft. in the grand scheme of things any game is a good game for me. a win? woo hoo we won! a loss YES that much closer to a better draft pick.
yes the draft is a gamble, but i'd rather see a team of young players losing then a team of disgruntled vets going no where. not all draft picks pan out, but every player who is in the NBA was a gamble when they first started out. maybe that gamble pays off, maybe it doesn't but i'd rather take the gamble then the players we have now which we do know for a fact aren't getting it done.
it's pretty obvious this team is going no where ( except last place) so why not cut our losses now, and try to get better sooner rather then later?

I never knew that we needed reasons for wanting our team to win.
I want them to win because I do not want them to lose. Losing does not ensure us a top pick. As bad as we are, other teams are worse. Everybody is pinning all their hopes on getting the top pick and getting Oden, but that is not promised to us. I expect the entire team to play to win. I will continue to cheer for wins as long as they are playing. I expect us to lose most nights, but always hope otherwise. We are going to lose enough to get into the lottery. We don't need to hope for losses in the games we should win.
