Wow, we beat Boston. I don't know what to say, I feel like I've just beaten a 6 year old at chess.

I wouldn't feel too badly. We came close to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory... and this was Boston we were playing.

We don't have to lose every game between now and April 16 to be in fair shape, draft-wise. However, I do feel we have to WIN on April 18.

I never knew that we needed reasons for wanting our team to win.
I want them to win because I do not want them to lose. Losing does not ensure us a top pick. As bad as we are, other teams are worse. Everybody is pinning all their hopes on getting the top pick and getting Oden, but that is not promised to us. I expect the entire team to play to win. I will continue to cheer for wins as long as they are playing. I expect us to lose most nights, but always hope otherwise. We are going to lose enough to get into the lottery. We don't need to hope for losses in the games we should win.

Eh...don't take it so seriously. I'm always rooting for them, but I'm no longer getting myself all worked up over losses. There's a time for the "rah-rah, root for your team no matter what" stuff, and then there's a time when you need to see the writing on the wall, accept the inevitable, and get yourselves a high draft pick. Don't call it rooting against the team...call it planning for the future.

I'm not too impressed with this game... I mean Paul Pierce was out.. but don't get me wrong, a win is a win, I think we all forgot how that felt like.....
