It's a definite possibility, especially if you take into account what some sixer fans say about Dalembert.
Nocioni will hustle inside; he will get rebounds; he can hit from outside. All of those traits would have helped a lot tonight.
And I'm more than a little concerned about Hawes for the simple reason he just did not look engaged tonight at all. It was like he was trying to play through gelatinous goo or something. He was a step off right from the beginning...and it only got worse as the game went on.
I know a lot of people are uber-critical of him, but tonight was not normal even as a bad game for him.
Spencer's playing terribly and he seems to be mailing it in. He's the only guy that doesn't consistently play hard. The guy is a wuss, I remember when we picked him everyone talked about how great of a post player he was and all he does is jack up crappy jump shots. I didn't want him when we drafted him, and last year he actually looked okay, and this year he's just nonexistant.
I think we DEFINITELY need Noc back though. He's the leader of this team, he plays hard, he hits the floor, he makes guys work on defense, he spreads the floor, he HUSTLES, and we need him. Deng wouldn't have owned us so bad tonight if Noc was out there. Noc is our veteran leader IMO.
