Kings got tight, and the Wolves really took Monk out by blitzing pick and roll almost every time. Same story, Kings fought back though but had to basically get bullied first lol.
Minnesota now leads a series two games to one in which they've been outscored by three.

Loved Shump!
The Kings made half of their 12 three pointers for the game in the last 5:30. Oddly enough, I don't seem to mind them shooting mostly threes when they go 6 for 7 in 5 minutes.
If this game proved anything, this team needs a steady diet of the Monk-Domas PnR. They continue to have incredible chemistry and it only Domas have someone get him easy shots at the rim.

Not a bad thought, also with IJ you could have a pick and roll or lob partner too. Could even be more fun when Carter comes back and you can sub DDR and Fox for Monk/Carter. Constant pressure on the opponent with those dudes

We go from 0-11 from 3 in the 2nd half with 5 mins to go, and then make 6 3s to close out the game. So crazy
Interesting thing with Shump is he was actually sort of bad on the floor, statistically anyway. But he was without a doubt the heart and soul of that team and the emotional leader of that squad. Couldn't believe how dead we looked for like 2+ weeks after we traded him, but I think he meant that much to the locker room and to the guys.

To be fair, it helps when Fox and Monk are the ones taking those threes and not Ice cold Jordan McLaughlin and McBuckets coming in cold off the bench.

When you don't know the plays, "run to the corner and stay there" seems to be a winning strategy. Now, how long will it take before Brown forces him to un-learn that?

He got subbed in early in the 3rd and played about 7 mins. Our ball movement was really bad, they shutdown our drives, and forced some bad 3s while he was in. He did a nice job on defense but he was playing some mins at the 5 after Sabonis got his 5th and that’s just doesn’t suit him

I love the basketball court they use for it though. Quite nice, but those green jerseys of theirs are the true abomination

It was always wild to me, even at the time it happened, that Vlade… The guy who played on one of the best locker rooms of all time (chemistry wise) decided to rip the veteran heart and soul leadership out of that team.
If anyone didn’t know Vlade was bad, that was the first glowing neon sign. (There was probably more before that, I’m just not remembering them)

lol my god, The Scores were Bagley’s first season? I thought Shump was earlier in his reign of terror. It’s all a blur, those 20 years. Lol
The first half of that season was fun as hell. Just fast as **** boi, all the time, all game.

This could have been MB in case the Kentucky duo didn't go nuclear the last 5 minutes.
In a serious note the Minnesota sucks bad this season, they were extremely lucky to beat us twice thanks to Ant heroics, but they ran out of luck and refs that came to the rescue weren't enough to save their butts.

Even shorthanded, seeing players like Crowder and IJ out there make the Kings seem like a more complete team. Randle played solid but he usually goes off against the Kings. He had an average game because the Kings had the right bodies on him.
Dont know why we went with Dougie McBelinelli to start the year instead of signing Crowder. I wouldn’t be surprised if McDermott is on the way out.
Big game for Monk, Domas, and Fox
It’s imperative that Keegan and Huerter learn how to shoot again. So much with how this team is built is on the assumption that those two can shoot. Both well under 30 percent now and we can’t say it’s early anymore. It’s going to be hard to get on the proper track with how they are shooting.
