Best cure for a Kings loss

You know, I have to agree with Glenn. At some point, the ridiculous need by some Kings fans to always find a reason to dump on our own just has to stop.

I really like McCallum's game. It remains to be seen whether he can actually play like this in games that matter, but I like it.

Unfortunately he often looks like an IT wannabe at this point. Pads his stats on the break. Holds it looking for his own shot. Now we get to see him wanting to be a hero.

Luckily we've entered the "numb" part of the season, so this one didn't really hurt very much. But it was a good effort out there with two starters hurting. I'm not quite sure what the thinking was behind playing Outlaw/Williams together for the 6-7 minutes of the game, but I guess it mostly worked.

That is a rather disturbing trend, I will admit. It appears to be part of Malone's new culture.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE CHUCKING POINT GUARDS, YOU DON'T LIKE KINGS BASKETBALL!

Cuz, Ray, Ben, and Reggie all had very good outings for us. Unfortunately our small forwards would miss the water if they were jumping into the ocean and our lack of guard depth meant that Cunningham had to play serious minutes for us.

Well, the team finally lost when he scores 20+, so you might be on to something.

Have to look at it again, but would be interesting to see how a known 3 point specialist in Wright, was able to get that open in the corner

Except his defense is worlds apart from the Pizza Guy's and, even displaying some chucker tendencies, he still finds ways to distribute the ball and, more importantly on a team featuring Rudy and Cuz, not turn it over.

not sure if serious?

Quite serious. Not a hippocrite about selfish play. When I have problems with IT its because he's flat selfish. if I have a problem with Ray's play its because he's flat selfish. I do not care who's making those plays, just the spirit in which they're made. I do get tired of people playing favorites because they like this person but not this person.

Oh, and Ray played a great game for him btw. But he made a number of selfish plays. He also, BTW, on the positive side, showed some floor generalship, repeatedly waving guys out of the way of Cuz postups (what those guys were doing in the way in the first place is a bit of a mystery).

Portland saw us going back to our big line-up and put in Wright to match up against Reggie. Reggie's a good defender but that only extends out to the edge of the key.
