[Game] Kings at Mavs, 1/14

Hall of Famer
Surprised there wasn't a game thread up. This one will be tough, but I could see us being right there midway through the 4th.

Good news. Thornton tweeted "Happy to be back out on the court tonight #excitedtweet". Hope he can give us something. If he starts, which of our rookies gets off the bench first will be interesting.

Hope it's a fun night. Hope Dirk has an off night.

Well good news then. If Thornton is semi-back, and Cousins is at least better than last night, we might get dangerousagain. Still be tough with first game bakc for Marcus, possibly still lingering sickness wiht DeMarcus, and a back to back and 4th in 5 nights for Reke after trying to carry us for 40+ last night

I can see Dallas blowing us out. Reke must be drained, Marcus coming back from injury, and DMC might still be fighting that flu or whatever. No way the other guys keep up with Dallas if 2 of our big 3 don't give us an A performance.

Fortunately all you have to be able to do to keep up with Dallas anymore is be able to outrun a walker.

For anybody wondering dish has the game on channel 440 as a join in progress at 6:30....idk why they can't just put it on now but what u gonna do..........

Interesting fact from the NBA Game Companion: The Kings are ranked first in offensive rebounds per game, grabbing 15.0 a contest. Sacramento is eighth in rebounding overall.

Were all missing. My biggest issue here is how the hell were goona stop dirk who was amazing last night whilst were on tired legs

Listening to the Dal broadcast will be painful. They are correct though. Bad shots, not following up, and Salmons sucks.

Yup. Just like Wilt used to do before the rule change. Moss on purpose to inflate your rebounding totals. Except, we aren't missing on purpose.

Moses Malone was the king. I think the rule change was that you couldn't have more than one rebound credited to you off your own misses.
