Kings 2011-2012 schedule*

Opener at home against Houston and with their new coach McHale instead of Adleman saving Maloofs from any possible rudeness redux towards Rick. I still think it's only 50-50 at best there's a season to be played with sides so far apart on the issues and barely talking to each other now.

One nationally televised game? Is that set in stone? You would think Jimmer alone would get us like 3 games.

For Nov-Dec-Jan, there are 39 M/W/F and we (would) play on 34 of them. 7 games on Saturday. But only 2 games on Tuesday, 3 games on Sunday and 0 on Thursday. Things look like they become a bit more interspersed after that, but the MWF dominated early schedule is weird. Looks like 16 back-to-backs.

Can anyone remember the last time this happened? 2003?

Without looking, yes I believe that the last time we opened at home was LeBron's first game in the NBA. (Does that mean that Marcus Morris is due to be the next great player?)

Already ready for the Hou game. Lets get this party started! Hou, you better pray the season doesn't start on time, or you're going in a 0-1 hole right off the bat.

Really need to be above .500 after november then try and hold close till March. April is brutal.

Finally we get a home game to kick off the season. Too bad it won't kick off in November though :\. At least that's what the signs are reports are pointing to. As far as the national TV games are concerned, I did expect at least 3 or 4 just because of the publicity Jimmer got and all the young talent we got but I can understand it too. We have to go out there and prove we are worthy of primetime and then, only then we can get all the national TV exposure we crave for. This year's schedule is weird though, they have the Kings coming here to Phoenix in Feb I believe and in March when it's usually a couple of months apart til they come here, ahh well guess I'll just have to wait til 2012 to watch the Kings play.
