What’s interesting to me is, despite the cacophony about our “wasted” picks across multiple front office iterations, some of the loudest would still rather get even more picks rather than trade 2-3 future picks for a KAT, Benny, Embiid, etc. I mean, we’re going to waste them anyway, right? Might as well spend them on a guaranteed superstar. The top 3 teams in the West all spent at least three future 1st round picks putting their teams together.

Yeah but Kings a different case. We r not 1 superstar away from competing.
And true be told neither KAT nor Ben Simmons can impact the game enough to take this team to the PO. specially when other teams will ask something else beside picks, u prob need to send Fox or buddy or MB3 or all 3 of them if u want KAT for example.
The resulting team will s uck as much as the current one.

we sure get 1 great talent player but the rest of the team will be talentless and we will not have a good pick for a couple years and ofc no free agent that considers serious contention will come.
