As I've been saying for a while.

But at least it was a good show for Webb and the fans. We still suck, but we played well and hard for the most part, so a good night.
 
refs didn't miss 11 FTs did not let Jazz shoot53% and did not limited is to 43% shooting. They made mistakes but we once again lost the game - not them.
At least we caught up with Clippers and Thunder
 
Yep, we stay in contention for the high lottery pick while providing good competition. Great night.

2 things:

1. Bad teams find ways to lose (that should be the quote of the Kings season)
2. Your biggest strength is your biggest weakness. Yeah Kevin! Trying to draw fouls soooooo damn obviously on back to back key late game possesions... Stop thinking about the damn free throws think about creating a good shot for yourself!
but ohh well screw that! It was all about honouring C-Webb tonight!
 
Im losing hope that we will ever win a championship or even get to where we were a few years back. If the refs screw us over everytime we got a shot to do something there is nothing we can do. I know it was our fault we lost but it makes it alot harder when you have Deron Williams lowering his shoulder and getting the and 1, then K-Mart does the same thing and all of a sudden the refs see an "OFFENSIVE FOUL". This game just summarizes the entire kings franchise, a let down. Yeah Im proud of this team and what they did and will do in the future but they have always been a let down one way or another and its not always their fault. I just wanted to win one for Webber but like usual it just didn't happen.
 
When do the trade K-mart threads start? If Carrill can do anything, if he can polish JT up a little and help Donte out I'll be happy.
 
I was pretty happy with the overall game, staying competitive in the game AND in contention for a high pick in the draft(hopefully 1!).

I would not have cheered them, but I would slapped the person sitting next to me if they started booing. Why I don't attend many live sporting events -- you can always spot my seats from whichever section of the arena is engaged in a massive seat clearing brawl. :D
 
Tonights game pissed me off they show how they can play hustle rebound 2nd qt no turnovers. Where the f_ _ _ has this been. THe only good thing out of this season is thompson and tonights jearsy retiring and number 21 next month.
 
I was at the game, but didn't hear anyone boo Petrie...But when the Maloofs were anounced, there were boo's coming from certain areas of the crowd. The thing that pissed me off was when Doug Christie was talking, some jack*** decided to yell out,"Doug, you suck!"

I was there and it was a great ceremony. Yes, I cried.

The crowd was great except for the boos for the Maloofs I don't care if you hate the Maloofs, it was not the time and place for that crap.:mad:

While it would have been nice for the team to win, I think they really did play hard and better. At least they were in it at the end.

The reaction for Doug was especially nice. Webber and Vlade both got ovations when they came back to Arco to play. Doug never did come back to Arco, so this was really the first time Kings fans got to show their love and appreciation for him.

All in all, it was a wonderful night and I am so looking forward to Vlade's night. :)

wowwww that's shameless of him! How in the world a true Kings fan can call that such a class act and in the words of C-Webb "a true warrior" like Doug sigh...
 
I was at the game and let me just say I had tears in my eyes. It was just so heart-warming to see Webb, Christie, Vlade, Pollard and Mateen!
 
Even Gary Payton was in the house tonight.

Watching the replay right now so I can hear what Grant and Jerry were talking to Webb about.
 
Congrats to Webb. It was a great night and he deserved every minute of it. Great to see Doug. It would be great to see Doug hired as a consultant to the kings. He could help kevins all-around game and teach him to man up of defense.
 
Ahh the camera crew cut away and missed the part, after the jersey was put up Webb and the other former Kings huddled around center court for one last time.
 
A bit bittersweet...I'm a grown man and I choked up a bit, watching at home. Seeing the brotherhood and heart from the glory days and watching the complete opposite of that on the court tonight...kinda broke my heart.


I like how C-Webb reminded us to appreciate what happened during there tenure here , because that's a once in a lifetime kinda thing -- ring or not-- I'm glad i witnessed it and shared a part of that glory, and never took any of it for granted while we were winning -- It was the reason I became a "basketball fan"...and especially a KINGS fan!
 
I was there as well. My eyes were misty, and I make no apologies for it. I also cried watching Adelman's press conference when he was "not resigned." What can I say, Im a softie.

Arco hasn't felt like tonight in a long while. It is much deserved to give our hearts and ovations to those that gave it to us. It was too bad that Bibby, Peja, and Hedo all had games today.
