With our team back on the rise lead by some of the best young players in the game, I think we deserve a throwback for these kids to rock every other game. I'd love the black uni's from a couple years back but would kill to see Reke rockin the half purple half black checkerboard jersey from the Richmond era. how sick would that be?

I think they should go back to the black jerseys. Now that we're young and exciting again, the league should allow us that colour back.

Whats that old saying. "If you can't be good, then look good". Of course my grandmother used to say that the clothes make the man. I must admit that I felt a lot tougher when I wore my Marine Corps uniform. Although it didn't help me much, when that big sailor I insulted cold cocked me into never never land. So as Al Davis used to say before senility ruled his mind. "Just win baby, just win". I don't care if you wear pink when you do it, just win!

We've had numerous polls on jerseys before...
One thing people need to know is that jersey selection is made the year BEFORE the jerseys are actually going to be used. (At least, I'm pretty sure that's what I was told when I asked this question some time ago...) While I know the black jerseys were/are again under consideration, as they well should be, it's costly to make a change like this although I strongly suspect the capital outlay would be quickly recovered with the Kings back in black. I know I'd be buying at least two jerseys in black.
Rather than a poll, if people really want to see throwback jerseys or black jerseys for this current crop of Kings, the best thing they can do is start sending emails to the Kings about it. They're really receptive to fan input right now...it's time to strike, as they say, while the iron is hot. Maybe that way, we can see the Kings back in black for 2010-2011.
