Sigh, ok, quickest way to do this, again (grrr) is just to edit your post (the one I am quoting here) to put in an embedded youtube. Then you can edit it yourself and take a look at the code + copy it. Its fairly simple.

There are three parts: the [xx] [/xx] (yt actually but that would have created a window here); the title, and the address code you get from the end of the address bar of your video. Format is [xx=title]address code[/xx]

Anyway, just check your post and I think you should be able to figure it out.

P.S. Have also added a more detailed explanation to the "How to Post at KF" sticky at the top of the main forum. Should answer any questions.

In seriousness, Im thinking of putting a 12 hour clock up. We've already had two looong waits in the first round alone, and if we all want this draft to end before the NEXT TDOS, Im going to have to change some rules.

Go back and look at last year's drafts. You'll see that life often got in the way and people just weren't around to make their picks the minute their turn was up...

SLAB, when it comes time to vote, please do not pit Bricklayer and Warhawk against each other. How the hell would I choose between a toothache and the Staples Center? Hmmm! Maybe a toothache while surrounded by Laker fans would do it. :p
 
Sorry for the long wait everybody, I blame it on time zone complications. I hope this won't become much of a problem, as I would normally be online in the evenings on weekdays, but I should probably note that I'm operating in CET, so I might be a bit late quite often.

So, err, the pick. Wel, since I'm still not quite sure in which way I'll be going exactly, I'll just get the one pick out of the way, I'd do no matter which direction. So, for my food item I select Balut.

Warning: Do not, I repeat, do not click on the spoiler, unless you have a very strong stomach and absolutely want to see boiled duck fetus.

So, this beauty is enjoyed on the Phillipines in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the fifth and seventh levels of hell. As you could possibly tell from the picture, it's basically a duck egg that is incubated until the fetus has developed quite far, crunchy bones and all. They are then boiled and served to you, as a

The more I think about it though, the more it becomes an appealing idea. I would love to meet Kobe on a deserted island, or, if that's not possible, a dark alley...whilst being armed with an iron crowbar...;)
 
Yay, my turn.

To add to the Laker theme ..


With my first pick in the island of pain and misery draft, I select The Entire fourth quarter of the 2006 western conference finals game 6, Kings vs. Lakers.Its on all the time, on every TV, no matter where you go, you cant escape it.

Obviously this hits home to Kings fans, and while it might not be the worst thing to have on a pain and misery Island, it hurts. Being on a Kings board, I figured this would have been picked before I got another chance, so I'll take it now.

However, given the $$$ at his disposal and probable lack of desire to hang out on a miserable island with a Kings fan of all people, I'm sure he'd just have a yacht sent to pick him up. :p

All the poor a-hole slobs I'm stuck with are stupid enough to burn down the only dock on the island with their rioting and will prevent their own escape. :D
