I smell Mojo

Well this is very encouraging.

Nicole asserts herself early while Yo is slumping... And Bam! Good things start to happen.

This is a good win in a lot of ways because people didn't just score. They did the correct things. I really like New York so I hate to say bad things about them.

But I am glad the Monarchs got them before Washington. I think it was important for us to get the Bugs out.

DeMya, Erin, Nicole and Yo in double Figures. Very Cool.

Not sure if the Mojo has officially returned, But this road trip may have been just what the Doctor Ordered.

Isn't it amazing what having a strong offense can do to improve the entire game?

Erin's putting up strong numbers again, and Nicole got her groove back. Even Becky looked strong in her appearance.

GO MONARCHS!!!

Only if wins against three sub-.400 teams constitutes "mojo."

4-7 against winning teams. More than half our wins are against bottom feeders; if that's "mojo," then I'll pass...

On the road always counts for ''Mojo'' No matter the record , we gain much needed confidence & our defense gets closer to last years form.
Now a real test will Friday in Washington. I'm pleased with the effort.

Yeah...

I agree... That is why I said it is almost there.

This needs to translate into a win against Washington. Who is a really good team. Okay yes they are 9-9.

But they are a very good ball club. New York has Holes all over the place. Mystics don't.

Mojo is getting your groovy in despite the opponent.

There were a few wins we had where I was not terribly impressed. It seemed like the other team play bad rather than us knocking down shots and forcing the issue.

So I am with you. I would like to see consistancy before I declare the Mojo Officially back.

Who cares if it's New York, any road win is fantastic with the record the Monarchs have right now.

Yep! The winning on the road, no matter the opponent, builds confidence. Holding a team, on their home floor, to 58 points builds confidence. Ka-Powell starting to hit shots builds confidence. Having 4 players in double figures builds confidence. Getting more minutes for DeMya builds confidence.

I could go on and on. Are they perfect? Heck no! Are they beginning to play better ball? Absolutely. Beating the teams we need to beat comes in time.

The mojo is improving. I will not knock that.

Well, it couldn't have gotten any worse, I'll give you that much.

Hopefully, it will continue to get better, but I'm far from optimistic; perhaps I'll start to breathe easier when we beat a real team on the road.

I'll take a win on the road the way this team has started out. They need to win tomorrow and Sunday for this to be considered mojo. They've started a trend of out rebounding their opponents so that's an equally good sign.

Listening to Kara last night, I did get the impression that they are looking to find their mojo and they wanted it to start in NY.

Passing the MOJO Test...

I don't know Guys...

This Home Brew Definately Smells Like Mojo. And it couldn't have come at a better time with SASS running around trying to be Giant Killers.

Gotta Play good Ball.

But I have said it before. I will say it again. When Nicole Powell Shoots the Ball. Everyone Has a Better chance at winning.
Ole K-Law wanted to Join the party too.

Balanced offense... Good Stuff. We will know Sunday if this Mojo or Moonshine

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baby....

They just need to come home and finish what they started by beating Charlotte on Sunday and go into the break feeling better about the first half than they would if they were still flirting with .500 every other game.

Now that they've gotten back in touch with their inner defender...and the switch on their offense seems like it is about to go to the upright and locked position, the 2nd half should be fun.
